Talk tomorrow....going home!
Don't change the subjectboxingchat wrote:Talk tomorrow....going home!
I've never suggested Warren has ripped off Hatton, because he hasnt. Hatton has earned well.boxingchat wrote:It's only relevant to the costs, so until you know those the income is neither here nor there. This is my point, Only FW knows the figures and paying RH what he has is certainly not ripping him off as has been suggested elsewhere.KO Atrist wrote:Sorry, couldnt resist it.boxingchat wrote: No way Jose!
Look, I agree that, prima facie, Hatton does owe Warren a degree of loyalty, and that he has earned well. I also agree that whilst Warren hasnt taken any punches he has obviously worked his bollocks off to build Hatton up. Warren earned his money too. He is obviously very driven and has done great things.
But if Hatton fells he is a free agent, and has been offered more money whilst gaining full control of his career, that ok isnt it?
AThe dispute appears to be that one feels he has a contract and the other feels he doesnt.
So they are not even at a stage where they can talk numbers.
How much do you reckon the Hatton shows where grossing under SN.
It's the opinions of 'outysiders' with no knowledge that often drives wedges between Boxer, Manager and whoever. Then when the Boxer get's beat whose left to re-build?
Good to hear they work late at Sports Network during a fight week.boxingchat wrote:Talk tomorrow....going home!
Do you reckon he is from SNnickd wrote:Good to hear they work late at Sports Network during a fight week.boxingchat wrote:Talk tomorrow....going home!

Quite possibly. It has happened before.KO Atrist wrote:Do you reckon he is from SNnickd wrote:Good to hear they work late at Sports Network during a fight week.boxingchat wrote:Talk tomorrow....going home!

Hatton has indeed fought in the US beforenickd wrote: And you are talking shit, guys like Judah, Mayweather, Wright, Hopkins are earning more than £1.5m a fight. Hatton is on the same level as those guys after beating a guy who was in everyones top 3 P4P.
Granted Hatton hasn't fought in the US before, but most of the fighters mentioned above have zero fanbase. With HBO money Hatton could easily earn upwards of £2.5m a fight.
You're right my mistake what I was meaning to say was Hatton hasn't headlined over there.Smit wrote:Hatton has indeed fought in the US beforenickd wrote: And you are talking shit, guys like Judah, Mayweather, Wright, Hopkins are earning more than £1.5m a fight. £1.5m ~ $2.75m as of just now. Winky made $1.6m from the Mosely fight which was his highest purse of the time. Not sure how much he made for Mosley II or Trinidad (probably more than $2.75m for the Trinidad fight) but thats only 3 fights in his whole career that's made him more than £1.5m
Hatton could earn more over in the US I agree on that.
Hes almost certainly from SN or related in someway to them. He does make valid points (not to say hes correct).nickd wrote:Quite possibly. It has happened before.KO Atrist wrote:Do you reckon he is from SNnickd wrote: Good to hear they work late at Sports Network during a fight week.

Have a read back through his posts, very pro SN. I dont know of a boxing fan that is!
Why not?KO Atrist wrote:Not for public consumptionboxingchat wrote:Ah fact! Spill the Beans then.

Anyway is Hatton training for this rumoured November fight? Can;tRicky tell usany info on the dispute hmself instead of having his dad tell everything?
True he hasn't been in those type of wars. His weight problem shouldn't affect him yet either.Ray Hatton said in an interview he ain't going tobe boxing long because he gives it his all.steve689 wrote:I read Warren's article in the News Of The World yesterday and i am somewhat surprised at this "Ricky only has three fights left in him" business, i don't know who has been saying that or if it is true (i presume it is his dad Ray). He is only 27 years old or whatever and despite his 39 fight record he has hardly been involved in Erik Morales style wars every fight has he? I agree with Warren on that score, he hasn't even hit his peak yet or is just coming into it. Maybe if his next three fights were going to be Tsyzu II, Cotto and Mayweather then it would be more understandable but Carlos Maussa and then whoever next
True but Ricky could still give a statement out on it too since it's his problem mostly.nickd wrote:His dad is his manager, doing a managers job.Max Molyneux wrote:Why not?KO Atrist wrote: Not for public consumption

I think that will happen once the dust settles and everyone knows where they stand. The Hatton's have been quite quiet considering what is going on, I expect they don't want to put their foot in it!Max Molyneux wrote:True but Ricky could still give a statement out on it too since it's his problem mostly.nickd wrote:His dad is his manager, doing a managers job.Max Molyneux wrote: Why not?

Warren said the same thing in News Of The World...quoting the bossboxingchat wrote:Incidentally, if Hatton, who has admitted that he has approached King and Arum and others, can earn so much more. Why is he fighting at Sheffield Arena and co-promoting the fight with Dennis Hobson? Perhaps his value of himself, like yours, is slightly over inflated. Just a thought!
i bet fw's bank manager was loving ricky fill 20k seats every fight cos it sure has hell wasn't the undercards put together by allegedly,he milked the cash cow to many times and it's turned round and bite him on the arse.boxingchat wrote:KO Atrist wrote:I'm not keen on Mancs myself.boxingchat wrote:Ah so you admit that you do it for fun? So how do you suggest we find out thewn ask Mr Warren to divulge all his accounts on here. Highly unlikely don't you think? However, if I was a betting ma I bet you would all be surprised and that RH earns more when he fights than SN do. Nearly £7m (so I hear) for the pony fights he's been having, and ordinary people have sympathy for him. Not me, greedy little Bastard! like Ferdinand and the like - Manchester water perhaps!
As SN are a public Co, I should have a set of their last accounts here somewhere.
But they dont show a breakdown of what each show takes.
Why should they, do you broadcast your private business. Hatton must have agreed those purses surely so what SN/FW or whoever get is irrelevent surely. If you have their accounts surely these show what the crack is?
Personnaly, I don't give a flying F##k either way. I'm big into loyalty and the scruffy little Manc has done bloody well. The last time anyone took so much money under false pretences was the Sex Pistols 'Great Rock and Roll Swindle' Hatton should be kissing FW's arse not kicking it.
I bet his bacnk manager is an FW fan. And to think my PPV money has helped swell his coffers to nearly £7M - No more my friend, no more.
The MEN Arena said on their website that only Hatton V Tszyu and Tyson have ever sold out the arena - again FACT not hearsay. And no, I don't work for Warren either, wish I did, but do believe in a fair case for both parties. On the flip side why are you lot so pro-Hatton? Did he ever turn down £700k to fight these bums for a crap title in order to satisfy his fans wishes. He avoided Witetr like the plague dispite all his fans wanting it, why is that then? Perhaps he's the one who has milked the cash cow for too long. Think about it that way around. I have seen HAtton fight many times but never has the arena been full apart from the last one.pasty_spud wrote:boxingchat wrote:i bet fw's bank manager was loving ricky fill 20k seats every fight cos it sure has hell wasn't the undercards put together by allegedly allegedly,he milked the cash cow to many times and it's turned round and bite him on the arse.KO Atrist wrote: I'm not keen on Mancs myself.

boxingchat wrote:I didn't quote a figure either higher or lower. I was just interested to know how these numbers are obtained that's all.Coconut wrote:Why not break down your justification for going for a lower number?
There's a clear implication that you think the 2.5m figure is higher than it should be. Why do you think this is the case?we keep hearing these inflated figures and so I am interested
I don't think it's the fights that he has had that suggest he has only 3 fights in him. It's the blowing up in between fights and the copious amounts of alcohol he puts down his neck. Very, very, unprofessional and possibly dangerous. Only last week a freind of mine saw him crawling out of a bar completely arseholed at 3am in Tenerife....Another George Best perhaps.numpty wrote:I cant understand this
'He only has 3 fights in him' either? Is his heart no longer in the game?!
Everything Frank said is true, but I am sure he is hiding some facts! I think sadly this is the beggining of the end for the Hitman! Shame :(
3 fights! Does that mean 2 more after Maussa? Both in Sheffield!? Not exactly giving his fans hope for the future?!
At last, someone who talks sense.numpty wrote:Last time I saw him on TV he looked well blown up! I wonder what he will look like when he is on Sky Friday, he must be carefull as to what he says on there. I bet they do not mention anything about the FW saga!
