You're right. Mike did lose a beat tossing Rooney BUT was still the most
dangerous fighter on the planet. Taking a few shots from a motivated
Razor Ruddock deosn't make you any less of a fighter. Ruddock was a
BAD MAN in those days & would've even givin Holyfield trouble & I'm a
afraid to say it BUT

He would've been the ONLY other fighter besides Tyson that would've
put George Foreman on the canvas for the 10count!

I would see Ruddock fighting Tua the same way that he fought against Weaver. Jabbing and moving and taking a pretty easy decision. Tua is clueless against a decent jab, and Ruddock at one point had a decent jab.

Donovan Ruddock via a fairly easy decision over 10 rounds. Tua never beat anybody with a pulse.

If the proposed time frame is the late 90's, then Tua flattens him with ease. If this were a prime for prime matchup I'd still pick Tua in a close fight. I don't think Donoven's stopping David.
