I wrote that before the replay where you could see he did a "Danny Green", but from the first camera angle it didnt look like a headbutt.

Not really, Germany always get blamed for robberies, but its not worse than a lot of other places. And when people vote for the robbery of the year its always american fight, so either there are bigger robberies overthere or people just complain about german fight without having seen them.

Next round by round will either be november 26th or december 3rd, both Universum cards. Might go to a concert on the 26th so I dont know if Ill miss that card.

I think sometimes certain fights stick in the minds of people... and for me... it's Reid VS Ottke. Not to say that Reid was totally robbed as such, but Ottke could basically walk on water as long as that ref was in there. Practically telling Reid off for actually trying to punch Ottke - I was fuming watching that fight.

The card on the 26th looks decent, but ZDF only show 1 main fight and highlights of the rest. Would like to see Abdullaev vs Kotelnik and Trabant vs Suarez.

And is Regina Halmich topping the bill on the 3rd? ie will that be the Main fight on ZDF?

For the november 26th card Brähmer vs Porras will be the live fight and on december 3rd it will be Halmich vs Reid.

You don't know what happened to Marco Huck do you Freiheit? I can't remember whether he was meant to be fighting on this card or the Ruiz-Valuev card but he seems to be off now whichever he was on

He was scheduled to fight an american on this card (Michael Simms?) but I dont know why it didnt happen.

Maskaev totally dominated every round throwing a ratio of 8 to every 1 Sam punch.
Maskaev was throwing and scoring massive with hooks,controlled jab and brilliant body shots.
Plus Sam had 1 point deducted.
I am no fan of either but it was a total shut out by Maskaev.

Won't it be Maskaev Vs Gomez as a final eliminator?

Maskaev didnt throw that many punches, and its still the punches landed that counts.
I scored each round for who I thourght won it, simple as that.

Maskaev landed so many flush punches that if sam did not have agreat chin he would be ko'd.

It was a total walkover.

I score what I see. IMO the first 7-8 were pretty close. I dont count arm punches. Maskaev did land some overhand right but other than that it was soft punches to the body soft jabs that he landed.

How meaningful is this fight in actually getting the winner a shot at the WBC champion (whoever that is)? Sam has been WBC No. 1 contender for ages now but hasn't had a turn and keeps fighting in these eliminators all the time...what will Maskaev gain from this win, will he now face off with Juan Carlos Gomez?

They talked with Mauricio Sulaiman, he said the winner of Sam vs Maskaev will be the mandatory for Rahman.
