Interesting no one has brought up Sean Sullivan

Last year Mundine KO'ed Sullivan (iron chinned I many add)

Months earlier, Green struggled big time again Sean and due to his dehydration (cutting weight, too long of a warm-up, Perth heat) has hospitalized for many days. I actually thought Green was going to retire because that fight was so dangerous for him. The reports from The West were pretty serious

Got the Beyer cut in a magazine but can;t find it on the net. Was a brutal one though like Vitali's cut!

I agree that Green may have lost something by his courageous heart on sleeve attitude to fighting, proper fight or in a gym, no matter a la Vargas.

I was intrigued by Mundine's "blue-collar man" etc points. I've heard he's extremely unpopular, PARTICULARLY with those of aboriginal descent.

Green may be worn and Mundine may have the footwork/running scared style but Green is a tough fighter and Mundine has a weak jaw - Ottke and Siaca.

Also I think Green overtrained for feather-fisted Beyer and if his training is good he could ctach up with Mundine...

His Aboriginal and hes made it, they love him. I dont think Mundine grew up silver spoon, yes he made it in rugby first all the same.

It will cost me about 1400 for flights Accomodation and tickets. They should have had it in Perth and it would have been a hell of a lot cheaper.

Calzaghe Vs Green is what I'd rather see.

It would be a good fight between Calzaghe and Green, I would pick Joe by UD but he may have a hard fight on his hands.

Joe would beat Mundine he has the speed , and you don't need a terrific dig to get over Mundine , he's a bit punch shy anyway , the guy runs so much cos he panics when the pressure is on.

Green on the other hand once again if he could box Joe should win but if Green was to catch up and drag Joe into the trenches , gotta say i'd favor Green in the get down and get dirty department.

Hard thing with Green is he was a very good boxer in the ameteurs , but under Fenech he left all his skills behind and became a brawler, if his new trainer can bring back the skills well who knows , i've a feeling he will be a different fighter altogether , wether or not his skills are world class level remains to be seen, But at least Green can go back to being an out and out agresion fighter if he chooses.

Is it just me or would this fight be more attractice at 175? I just feel that Danny is cutting too much weight.

I think Green has been cutting to much weight for years, He is big for a supermiddle and could easily carry his power up a division.

Win or lose, I am sure Danny can beat the majority of the top 15 contenders at 175.

Off topic...when does the Force start their season? I moved back to the US from Perth a few months ago and I am bummed I can't catch a match.

I'd put my money on Green in this one. He's the real fighter and Mundine seems a bit of a fake. Can't imagine Mundine turning up at James Toney's gym for some short notice sparring.

Green to pulverise Mundine in 7 rounds.

Those heroes at Sky better show this, and not one week later either.

Mundine is not popular with many Aborginal men on the steet. His arrogance, silver-spoon lifestyle and scared/running style have not endeared him to everyone.

Unquestionably he is a popular man with others for making it to the top-10 and speaking his mind.
