Yes, this is what stops most fighters contesting their contracts.

Surely the fighters could lobby the sanctioning body, and say they don't want to be rated any more and then just ditch the contract?

question - are showtime still planning something for Kessler in America? Or were they just hoping Lacy would beat Calzaghe and unify vs MK?
