my last email from sky
Thank you for your email about boxing.
Unfortunately, Sky has no plans to broadcast the Mayweather versus Judah boxing match on the 8th April 2006, however, your interest has been noted and passed to Sky Sports for their information.
Thank you for taking the time to contact us and for your interest in Sky.

Lee Haskins v Zolile Mbityi for the Commonwealth Flyweight Title, Simone Maludrottu v Damaen and Kelly for the European Bantanweight Title are two of the events scheduled for broadcast in April on Sky.

That's tough on Maludrottu, having to fight Damaen
and Kelly on one night. Must be the rules in this new division of bantanweight.
What do I want to watch? I would have thought that was clear (hint, not endless golf, 'wrestling' and Armenian moto-cross).

nickd wrote:You can download a torrent of the fight on there yes. You'll need a torrent client on your PC, just download and install Azureus if you dont already have one. Search for it on google. Then find the fight on worldboxingvideoarchive and download the torrent from there. Sometimes they can be on there within a few hours of the fight finishing.
How much is this worldboxingvideoarchive ? I have BitLord will that do ?

Free downloads. Yes Bitlord will do it.
Have a look on that site, there are so many fights on there. I got Brewster v Liyakovich from there before knowing the result.

It depends. But the most recent fights have plenty of seeders. Check on there on sunday for instance, Mayweather v Judah will be there with plenty of seeders. I have downloaded fights in about 20 minutes at times.

Just a thought but cancel your Sky subscription - £30-40 and get a broadband connection instead £15-30 and never miss a fight....

I'm getting broadband anyway, it's just that there's no way of getting it quickly. I get broadband as part of my homechoice package.

It's great helping each other with all of this lads, but public posts on forums such as this one about torrents and TV streaming sites are what gets them shut down. Would be best if administrators could delete each of the posts referencing the sites and this post also.

Yes, I know that, but rather difficult when your broadband isn't working yet wouldn't you say?

The torrent site has it now sticky topic on the current scene, so we can talk about it here. Might have something to do with the site being legal in the Netherlands.

Did you not get it working for the Toney-Rahman fight?
