the big problem for harrison came quite early in his pro career - his trainer happened to mention to him one day that his opponents will try to hit him back - audley was never quite the same after that.

I posted this after the Audrey Guinn fight had been confirmed.

I reckon if he fights again, Journeyman is the only title he can be given cos he's only going to lose (unless he takes a walk with Julius Francis again).

Wildwaylong,what are you talking about,williams won that fight so easy,and he never bothered to do hardly anything in that fight,why the ref gave sprott the win was simply because williams out of order with his contempt of sprott,added to that the fight before,williams knocked sprott clean out because williams hit sprott in the balls,spott waited for the ref to do something and williams floored him.I`m not saying williams is no good,cause in the right frame of mind he`s ggo enough to go against all the heavies fighting now.

I've notice that when he wins its all in the third term stuff "Audley Harrison is still undefeated, Audley Harrison got the job done".

When he loses though, he tends to mention team Harrison "We had a good camp and we haven't quite crossed the mountain" etc.

He seems to over analyse stuff too much also, boxing is not rocket science.

So does anyone think that Audley can improve? I was just comparing him to Johnny Nelson, who when he stepped up the first couple of times against De Leon and Warring , Nelson froze and everyone was calling for him to quit. Since then he has gone on to be one of out best Cruiserweights ever.

So could Audley do the same? or is it just he doesn't have the physical capabilities to box at world level?

Well if he's serious about continuing, he should just start right back at the beginning. Fight Gammer. Fight Krence. Fight Sidon. Fight Slaeta. Be rightly ignored by the public, and don't show up until you have the eye of the tiger. Seriously.

The idiot states that Frank Bruno went for the world title 3 or 4 times before he won it. What a knob!! I didnt realise these were world title fights he was in!

i'll go along with the condolences but i have to say i'm not and never have been a heavyweight fan - its been fairground fantasy boxing for too long now

Nobody in their right mind is going to pay to see him fight.

Lets not forget, these are not top drawer heavyweights who have beaten him. The guy just has absolutely no heart, stamina or confidence in his chin. The signs have been there long before these last two fights.

I have to say I'll be happy when he gets knocked clean out the guy is a tosser plain and simple.

Harrison should hire himself out to fight exhibition fights in squats, the stench of his performance would clear out even the most determined freeloading soapdodger. Maybe he could clear protestors away as well.

Surely you jest! Harrison has not even won a domestic title and when all is said and done that level will be the limit of his achievements.
