Have you come to rescue us from the Ali-Marciano tiranny then MF? Are you the messiah... or just some sort of Toxic Avenger?

Wha??? All I did was comment on the strangeness of the way that conversations supposed to be about something else entirely turn into ones about Ali, and ones that are supposed to be about Ali turn into ones about something else entirely. I'm not sure why you're making a strange, possibly insulting post like this when I did nothing but make a comment about the oddities of this computer forum... Was that post intended to be a joke?

Its not a joke if you are not laughing MF.

You see MF, the lord works in mysterious ways....and so does Boxrec. Yes, we have our share of wicked and unconventional posters, but somehow in the end it all seems to work just fine. So unless you ARE the messiah, I respectfully ask you to spread your gospel somewhere else.

PS: If you indeed are the saviour, Ive considered starting a thread about Roberto Davila "El Grandazo de Surquillo", the only known heavyweight from Peru. he fought Foreman, Chuvalo, Brian London, Buster Mathis, etc.. Any thoughts on him?

I wasn't 'spreading a gospel'. I just remarked on the strangeness of the forum's conversations.

Interesting. Marciano said the same in a newspaper interview at the time.

Machen did the best of anyone against Liston (he still lost by a mile).

It is greatly to Johansson's credit what he did with Machen.

Very late in his career Machen hurt Frazier badly with a punch during their fight.
Yes, I think Johansson was a very underrated fighter.
