Gans was the most balanced boxer/puncher of his day, but Leonard may have fought in Boxing's absolute peak era. I can't ever imagine Leonard being bombed out so easily by McGovern either or being outpointed by a green Langford.

Allowing for McG being a freak of nature, we already know Langford was, likely Leonard gets a clever decision over the distance. Seriously doubt Leonard would be troubled by 40 rounders since he was an excellent distance fighter against better overall comp.
