Yep you can't get away from the tap water and I wouldn't go to South America if not for less than 3-4weeks

Lima is a great place and all with all of its surprises, its contrasts and such, and like I said before I am hellbent on going back there for good one day, but if you two haven't before you should get away from Lima and venture into the mystical Peru, the Amazon, the Andes, cities like Cusco, Arequipa or Ayacucho... You will never want to spend more than a few days in Lima after that.

Parkfield Avenue is Rusholme but it is like a few hundred yards from Maine Road so it is the border - you are smack on in the description!

It is a funny old road that one. At one end you are right in Rusholme and that is where the student houses are. They used to sell 'Mosside' teeshirts in HMV and people in lectures would be wearing one and you'd ask where they live. They'd tell you and I would say: "Rusholme then?".

I was born right near Maine Road, in a street called Pickering Street which later had its name changed to Middleham Street. We then moved a very short distance to Lloyd Street South, about a hundred yards from the old Parkside pub. That was M14 and the address was Fallowfield, but I think - and proudly claim - that I used to live in Moss Side!
