Yeah Ricky could have fought a better fight maybe, but nothing he could have done would have beaten Mayweather, who showed he's the best fighter we've seen in years - he'd have beaten Chavez I reckon, and would even have given the great Ray Leonard one hell of a fight.

Amazing that this lightweight boxer, is the man with the power against fighters like ODH, Corrales, Hatton...whatever it takes, Floyd pulls it out of the bag. Real class.

Great line by Hatton in the post fight, it was a fluke...nothing to be ashamed of, gave it his best shot and went out on his shield.

Fussy ref though.

Interesting hear what know it all Billy Graham makes of it...was he wrong, after banging on about this fight for years, or did Ricky not excecute his masterplan?

Mighty Warrior's post is a good one.

Hatton's way of beating PBF was a good one - naturally if he was good enough to carry it out - he wasn't - there again I don't think there is a boxer out there who is.

Forget Cotto - as good as he is - he would get mullered a lot sooner than Hatton did.

It's actually 39 fighters, to be precise. Do you know what precise means?

Makes you wonder whether Cotto would end up the same way as Hatton. I think so. That first round against Zab Judah gave all the indications how Cotto can be beaten with speed & slickness.

Witter-Hatton would be a MASSIVE British event.

Would fill the Millennium Stadium or Wembley i'm sure.
Lets hope it happens next summer.
