Which proves your Aussie heroes would have done the same?

How have you extrapolated that from Brute's comment?

He hadn't yet managed to come up with who on the Aussie scene (save for US-based Meehan) was better than Couser, and then seemed to be using the Arreola result to suggest Couser isn't good enough to fight in Oz.

In most of Couser's recent fights he has been knocked out in the first two rounds. Arreola was the most merciful, but it reads like a monumental mismatch. What would be the point of bringing him here, when there are plenty of second rate heavies for him to fight over there, if he sees any point in going on? I am surprised that he is still allowed to fight. I fear for his welfare.

To be honest, I agree there isn't much point bringing Cliff to Aus, it was only because of this exact thread that I was commenting on it.

As for whether or not he should be allowed to fight, why not? He might be on poor form recently but there are a lot of guys out there with worse records, and need it be said that journeymen are the backbone of the sport? Cliff is being matched too tough for his current position, but he can still be competitive at a lower level.

Maybe Cliff should look up Tongan heavy Bowie Tupou. He's over in the states knocking over tomato cans, he has a fight soon against John Clark, who he has already cleaned up.

Bowie is a big boy, though. He is 6'2" and usually around 260 pounds. He has 12 wins with 10 KOs, no losses.
