What happened to that other guy that used to religiously patrol these corridors? Went by the name of Boxfuzz or something. Has he passed away? My condolences to his family (if he had one) if that is the case.AntonS wrote:I rarely read this part of the forum.

Familiarize yourself with the non-boxing filth that collins posted in an attempt to destroy my PETER MAHER thread.

Take a look at the way collins and his fellows worked systematically to destroy my PETER MAHER thread here.
Two serious boxing researchers, donellon and klompton, abandoned this site after this non-boxing filth was posted by collins.
Read the thread from the beginning and tell me what you think.
Granberry
You posted this nonsense in the comments section of the Gerry Cooney vs Jimmy Young video on youtube. When you were challenged, you did not explian how that fight was a fix.granberry wrote: I know of two fighters who had what amounted to fakes with Cooney.
If the fight was a fix, why would Young stand there and allow his face to get mutilated instead of falling and taking a count?
Familiarize yourself with Granberry's first incarnation on this site, Terap, and why he continues to post the same garbage that got him banned in the first place.granberry wrote:ANTON,AntonS wrote:I rarely read this part of the forum.

The WOMEN'S CLUB is EAGER to demonstrate their feminine fixation.
Just as I have said.

THE WOMEN'S CLUB :
MarcianoFrazier-----Tua--- and Tolstoy
Do you ladies go shopping together?
And then stop and have one of your gossip sessions and where you jabber about whomever your feminine natures are fixated on lately?

Marciano-Frazier----It looks pretty clearly that you are the mental case here---
with your total FIXATION on one poster.
Your attempt to turn THIS forum into a women's club ain't gonna work.
Go back to your other websites and whine in your agony.

and what about Bruce Seldon, do we actually acknowledge any kind of prime with him? He fits in more than one way too, because of the side discussion on "the fix" mentioned earlier with Jimmy Young. If there was EVER a fight I saw where I'm throroughly convinced the fix was on, it was Seldon vs. Tyson.
It wasn't a fix, he just shit himself and didn't want to get hurt, simple as that.VoiceOnTV wrote:and what about Bruce Seldon, do we actually acknowledge any kind of prime with him? At first I thought he was just scared, but then...Flump wrote:It wasn't a fix, he just shit himself and didn't want to get hurt, simple as that.VoiceOnTV wrote:and what about Bruce Seldon, do we actually acknowledge any kind of prime with him? THE BIZZARE INTERVIEW AFTER THE FIGHT! It was like he was Tyson's new publicity man! There was also the part where he just kinda fell off the planet and you didn't hear his name again for so long! I just came to the conclusion that he got paid off to "drop" the belt the way wrestlers do, and he went on a LONG vacation to the Bahamas or something. Years later, when he finally ran out of money, he tried a comeback.
It did make me laugh when he insisted he didn't choke, and then it cuts to a replay of him hitting the deck from a punch that missed. I think the reason why he disappeared after was because he was disgraced, promoters didn't want to use him, then the money runs out and he comes back.VoiceOnTV wrote:At first I thought he was just scared, but then...Flump wrote:It wasn't a fix, he just shit himself and didn't want to get hurt, simple as that.VoiceOnTV wrote:and what about Bruce Seldon, do we actually acknowledge any kind of prime with him? I think Tyson was more than capable of battering Bruce Seldon without the need for anyone paying Seldon off.
Re: Boxers with short primes?
Did anyone mention RANDY TURPIN?
Decisively beat the greatest fighter, P4P, of all time. Robinson was still close to his prime and his record was something like 150-1 (or whatever) at the time.
Turpin hung around at the top ranks for a few years after that, and many people naturally figured he would succede Robinson when Robby retired. But he surprisingly lost to Bobo Olson in the elimination match (reportedly he was drained from making weight) and then quickly faded away.
