Max You just have no clue!
Can't you come up with better than this?

At least Boxing chat Is funny.
You sound like the Hatton faithful coming out with a reem of reasons for him not to fight to Witter, why are you so against JC-Froch??? surely if you think this fight would be a mismatch (as you've said countless times) then you'd want to see Carls 'No Bite' mouth firmly shut (as Hatton should with Witter), I think you're abit more worried about Carls power than you're letting on :TU:

Max seeing as you seem to be the fountain of all boxing knowledge, could you enlighten your loyal subjects on the details of the Calzaghe and Bute offers to Froch? Were they derisory offers? Did team Froch have any prior commitments? Should Froch go and fight Bute and JC in their backyards for 10 pence and a mars bar?

Froch has been targetting JC and calling him out for along while, yet JC has been content to fight Salem, Ashira, Bika and Manfredo without making Carl a serious offer. Nuff Said

Because Hatton V Witter Is different where Hatton has had Witter as his domestic rival for at least 8 years, while Froch has been stuck on the domestic scene and hasn't gone beyond prospect level yet.

Theres more to boxing than punching power and Carl would be made to miss the way he plants himself down to get an effective power shot off.

Whats wrong with an IBF eliminator? He mouths off like he could KO the whole division and when offered fights an obviously under prepared Tatesvosyan. Why would the pay be an Issue?

Plus Froch has said In boxing Monthly he'd prefer to fight Joe In Cardiff. If Boxingchats 250k offer Is for real then Froch should of took It.

Yeah Froch called him out after only just winning the British title against Hague, hardly a time to be calling him out and thinking he's ready and the fans here would of complained he's fighting a domestic fighter Instead of a world fighter at the time.

Do you know what the serious offer was? Froch should of taken It If he wants to back up his mouth.

I don't know anything about the alleged offer which is why I'm not criticising Froch for not taking it. As you know promoters regularly put intentionally low bids in for a fighters services then claim they turned the fight down and that they are ducking them. Froch won't and shouldn't fight for peanuts.

It's pretty obvious there's more to boxing than punching power Max, but it can also be a BIG part of the game. As RJJ said 'the only way to beat JC is to knock him out' and Carl is one of if not the BIGGEST punchers at 168-175. I'm not saying Carl would definately win (although he would :D ), but it's another great domestic clash that we're being robbed of, however Witter has more of a case of avoidance than JC does

Carls fighting in an eliminator against Inkin, so he'll make his own way to the top irrespective of what Calzaghe does. It's just a fight I and I'd imagine most of the British fans would like to see.

Froch will never knock Calzaghe out, he has to stand flat footed to deliver heavy shots and Joe will be too elusive for that. No great domestic clash In a one sided fight where Joe will make him look like an amatuer and will have an easier time since Froch's left hand Is low. Southpaw Jab can tag him easier when the left hand Is low.

Low bid for what fights? Guys like Froch and Thaxton were offered career high paydays. He's not high profile yet so he should take lower offers, Witter would and has. Thats one of the reasons why I am a Witter fan and have respect for a fighter like that.

Wen your only prospect level, your not much In a position to turn down decent offers depending on the reason.

Only read a few Froch fans on here like you would want the fight no one else is interested.

I'd pick Kessler over Froch too since Carl Is open to timed right hands and thats one of Kessler's main strengths.

There's no way that JC-Froch is the formality that you like to pretend it is, IMO JC sees Froch as a bad style match-up. Whilst JC is landing his pity-pat southpaw jab or his pity pat combinations Froch's monstrous BIG straight right comes down the pipe and that will be all she wrote.

There are plenty who have said that they were going to exploit Frochs and Hayes low left hand defence, but I've yet to see anyone do it, mainly because they keep get tagged on the way in and they feel the power. JC would be no different IMO

First you say you don't know about the offers to Froch, but now you're saying that Froch has turned down a career best purse. Any proof of this or are you just spouting off? Froch would have to be realistic in any negotiations, but that doesn't mean he has to fight for peanuts

Joe beat Ottke's victims faster than Sven and never won controversial or needed the ref to win. Who cares who beat who first.

At least Joe fought a prime Reid and wasn't troubled by a past his prime one like the man your a yes man too, Froch was put off balance by timed straight rights.
Contradiction!

He was using opposition logic to justify logic that Froch has a chance against Calzaghe.

Yeah It's a contradiction though.

Joe's fought more world/better opposition than Ottke though. Beat them more convincingly too.

Not really pretending, It's my view on how Calzaghe Vs Froch would turn out. Froch's straight right doesn't knock them out, It's his right uppercut from what I've seen and he plants his feet down for full force but Joe's too elusive to not get hit by It.

Kessler's straight right Is way better than Froch's and Joe's granite chin took It well and mixed with his talent and conditioning will take Froch's well If he manages but he ain't as schooled as Kessler and tries to be Roy Jones a little bit.

Just because someones weakness Is a sneaky right doesn't mean every straight right will land. Floyd can be weak to pressure and that logic made people thought Hatton had a chance against Floyd but It's how you do It.

I didn't say a career best purse, I said he's hardly In a position to turn down offers thinking he's hot shit. Not saying he can't turn down peanuts but when the offers there, you can take It then when you have the title then your more In a position to turn down peanuts. Taking the little offers can help your marketability at times.

I doubt he would of been paid poorly for an IBF eliminator, It would go to purse bids and Mick could of shelled out surely so he got paid well enough.

JC Is totally different to Froch's victims, Froch has yet to fight a world class fighter, they've been low level euro's or domestic level guys, Dodson and Magee were his freshest names on his resume.

Froch looks suspect to right hands which Joe can use his southpaw right hand to give Carl fits, he looked suspect to workrate too but he got Dodson out early for It to be confirmed enough but we know Joe's workrate Is brilliant. Before the body shot he was pushed on the backfoot when Tony was going forward looking like he was trying outwork him.

Calzlaghe will exploit his defence. Actually Reid got him with right hands put him off balance at times and Magee was outboxing him at times too so It's been shown. He tags them because he's willing to take so many shots to do It.

We'll have to agree to differ, hopefully we get chance to see who is right
