If that is true then they are certainly keeping him busy. I would like to see them give him a couple of weeks rest and prep for a bigger one. Like mentioned maybe Gorman II, Fagan or McDonagh.

Well he's not fighting any of them, but it is a relatively big step up from what i can gather, but i agree with you. I wish he could take a few weeks off. A guy like andy i wouldn't say is working so he must be getting by purely from his boxing living so that much be hard and he’d probably needs to fight regularly not only for progression as a boxer but for his income as well, for good luck to the lad and if i get chance to go i’ll shout my head off for him

With Murray's purse fee's he should be able to afford at least a few weeks off lol.

Murray's last 2 fights have only been little run outs so he should be in great form for a step up right now. I'll be at the show myself so I hope to get to see Murray again.

Anyone know if Martin Lindsay fought on the Molitor card in Canada this weekend?

What is with the Canadian connection and Lindsay?

He is an exciting and talented prospect - I would like to see him mix it up with the best in the UK. Anyone know what the plans are for this lad?

Not sure Terry but i was looking forward to his proposed clash with Appleby for the British eliminator rather than these IBF Youth baubles. That would have told us a little bit more about both men but Lindsay had tooth trouble which he is apparently now over.

No the fight didnt take place, the commision canned his opponent a few hours before the fight

What did I tell ya about Murray fighting again?!! I knew he would be, i'd say it'll be that step up in fighter that he needs to propel him into the european rankings (As i post this comment there is a ? over the person he's due to fight, i'd say that will change soon)

Fagan will have to up his profile back in Ireland to make money-sense. He's been away for too long and I don;t know if the public know much about him lately. Murray is fighting so much lately, that they can't but know about him.

That would be a hell of a fight though. I thik Fagan by decision or late stoppage.

I always thought they were trained by their father at the Golden Cobra club - could be totally wrong

No i missed Eddie at the Park Ave. But yes looking to speak to Eddie and/or Paul before their scraps next weekend. Eddie has a tasty one with Kev O'Hara and Paul fights Paul Griffin from Oz. Should be good ones.

Yeah Jamesy is back in training (though light training, knee still not 100%). We are heading down and back in the same nite all sober too as we are watching the JC fight on return to Belfast.

Sold out in 2 days lol. We had a fighter that might have been used to fill a gap but Peters couldn't use him as there were no tickets for support to go aswell lol. Having to move the boxer to next weeks bill.

Murray won in the first round, he landed a punch on the belt and dejesus (or what ever the hell you call him) couldn't get back up. He said he wants to keep busy there in his interview, whats the bets he'll be on the Hyland show in 2 weeks???

Gareth, do you still think Murray will fight Gorman? Andy is now 12-0 and i can only see him pressin onto big things...

Hyland show is next week, and Reecy and (Jim rock lol) said he'd have a wee rest now for a few weeks and be out end of May (theres a few shows lined up for the end of May in Ireland). I don't think Hyland has the money for Murray on the card.

I think that Murray will try to press on with bigger things and possiblt move towards the British/Euro scene (possibly to avoid this rumoured Fagan bout). If thats the case maybe Murray would give up his Irish Title and allow Fagan and Gorman to fight for it.

Gorman fought Walsh in Cork for the Welterweight title and lost by just one point (also have a KD on the final bell disallowed). There is a chance that Gorman might go up a weight again to fight Walsh again. This would be at the promoters request not Gormans. but as James has said before he'll fight anyone, line them up and he will try his best to knock them down.

That's interesting. Do you think Murray is a bit weary of the Fagan fight? As I said before, I don't know who'd win between the two. I guess Murray might be favorite going into it, but he'd be in for a nightmare night. I really think Fagan would stop him late. He might be right to avoid Oisin. And sure, if he can avoid that possible fight and still get bigger fights on the Euro level it would be better for him to lose in a big money fight than to lose a low-scale pay-day with Fagan.
