Gary has a game plan and it involves skill, speed and cruiserweight power, not luck

Floyd is better than anyone, never mind Hatton. Pavlik is in another class to Lockett, although Lockett is good he isnt that good. As for the last one, I am still laughing. BTW Dragons is Welsh, you cant blame him for believing in Lockett.

Ignore him Matt, he's a cock.

What is interesting is that if Lockett were to beat Pavlik it would upset his stablemate's path, because aren't they trying to set-up a future fight between Kelly and Calzaghe?

Yes, I think so. Perhaps Calzaghe vs Jones Jr would then be made?

I've started another thread for any fans travelling out for the Lockett Pavlik fight - any tips/pointers about Atlantic City are very much appreciated.

Kelly Pavlik v Gary Lockett travelling fans

Also it would be good to get people making plans to meet up for beers etc, as much noise as possible...

razzle dazzle :TU: :box:

about 550 all in we estimate.

flights to Philly are 373 on BA from Heathrow
train to Atlantic City
plus hotel
plus ticket - range from $500 to $50 depending.
based on 3 nights 6th-9th - check out the other thread

Basically its cheaper if you avoid NY. I want to go to NY on a proper break and it'll be shite if I'm only there for a day or two so I'd rather not bother and go another time

I've got no idea about the arena so I'm not sure what quality ticket to suggest to be honest...

May be wrong but I think we have seen Joes last fight at SM. If Woods gets the win against Tarver I think it will be Calzage/Woods at Cardiff in Joes final fight.

If it's going to be an all British affair, then the other name needs to be a big one, imo. Clinton Woods is unheard of to 99% of people who don't follow boxing. That's just my take though.
