Kot chopping him up now, not much left in the tank for Rees. Still battling away. Lands a couple of nice body shots, but he's the man being worn down by the bigger heavier shots. Kotelnik landing a lot of left and right hooks.

Kotelnik's round. Rees looks almost finished.

ROUND 8

Kotelnik is busier than normal at the start of the round and landing regularly to the head of Rees. Rees comes forward and slips in some uppercuts. Kotelnik hurts Rees and he sags. Rees comes back with more great body shots, planting himself as they hit. Rees urging himself forward but a Kotelnik round.

76 - 76 EVEN

Round 8:

Rees's face is a wreck as he takes some clean shits by Kotelnik, but is trying to battle back, but again amazing shts by Kotelnik, Rees is nearly gone, punch after punch from Kotelnik, Rees holding on, Rees seems to of recovered and trys to fire back to the body, amazinf action, Rees battles forward, Kotelniks round

78-66 Kotelnik

Rees has amazingly found a second wind, nice hard shots to the body from Rees. Kotelnik looks comfortable, but Rees carriying the early rounds. Kotelnik needs to put some work in to take the round.

Rees' round.

Faded at the last 30 seconds, but he did enough to win that one. Rees still in it, Kotelnik can win if he puts his foot on the gas. Whenever Kotelnik lands, Rees looks hurt.

ROUND 9

Rees tries to bring his jab back which has been missing for a couple of rounds. Rees pouring himself forward and launching flurries into the body. Great determination from Rees. Kotelnik again has a good last 30 seconds where he lands 3 or 4 big shots. I score it for Rees but it was close.

86 - 85 Rees

Round 9:

Rees comes out and is actually fighting calm, trying to get the jab working, nice body shots from Rees, Rees starting to step in and out which is giving him the edge in this round, good end by Kotelnik but not quite enough, Rees's round.

87-86 Kotelnik.

Thing is I can see the judges favouring Rees in those closer rounds so we may be in for a decision going to Rees if Kotelnik wins by only 1 on the score cards on this round by round.

Dont forget he has the home advantage and he is the champ, so the judges may favour him quite a bit.

rees looks spent, Kotelnik lands a peach of an uppercut, and catchign him with the left hook again and again, Rees looks very arm weary, but Gaving still trying to keep the arms moving. Kotelnik opens up over the last minute, putting them together. Rees somehow fires back at the end, both stand and trade at the bell.

Kotelnik for me, cleaner harder work, Rees not landing much of any note.

No idea but that doesnt tend to mean much in places like Germany or here, lets be honest we (as in Britain) are fairly bad for home town decisions.

ROUND 10

Thumping jab from Kotelnik and again he tries to force himself to get busier. Both men tired now. Rees clinches after absorbing a couple of head shots and clinches more afterwards, looking like he is struggling now. Kotelnik sensing Rees decline pushes forward and throws leather. Rees makes a stand in the last 10 seconds and they fight after the bell briefly. Kotelnik round. Rees is in trouble now I think, he's running on heart now.

95 - 95 EVEN

Round 10:

Rees trying very hard, both seem tried, Rees throwing more but the bigger and much cleaner shots are coming from Kotelnik, both swinging like mad men upo to the bell and through the bell, Kotelniks round for cleaner work.

97-95 Kotelnik.

Very close fight. C'mon Gavin!

No quit in this dog, Rees is still coming forward, and his aggression may well win him these last two. Kotelnik might be ahead, but it's bloody close. Have a feeling Rees will hang on now. Nice left uppercut from Kotelnik.

Rees holding a lot now, but Kotelnik not really letting his hands go. acting like he has it won, but he's got to keep his oot on the gas.

ROUND 11

Rees again seems to find a bit of energy and pushes himself forward but Kotelnik seems to be landing to the head any time he lets go now. Rees outworking Kotelnik but the punches have no snap in them now, he's just point scoring. Rees looking very ragged in the last minute but still does enough to out work Kotelnik and take the round.

105 - 104 REES

you clowns made it seem like rees would be out of there by rd 9..

Round 11:

alot of holding by both fighters at the start of this round, both battling away, Rees outworking him thus far, 2 good left hooks from Kotelnik though, very close round.. Rees edges it for me.

106-105 Kotelnik.

Rees has the heart of a champion if nothing else. Rees nicked the round. Kotelnik doesn't fight like he wants it as much as Gavo. If gavin does win this, whether or not you have him ahead you cannot fault his desire.

7-4 Kotelnik for me. Rees just cant punch hard enough which is a great shame
