The undercard so far consists of Malignaggi/N'dou and Matthew Hatton v TBA. That is a shower of shite if you ask me, just like the main event. Watching a plodder like N'dou chase Malignaggi around the ring for another twelve rounds will be tedious for anyone stupid enough to watch and Matthew Hatton won't be fighting anyone of interest either.
Two world title fights isnt to be saniffed at!

2?

1) Pm Vs N'dou

2)????

Hatton is the linear champion, whatever you think of him he's the real champ. Witter deserves a shot but in truth Malignaggi is a no more than a contender and a paper champion.

Linear champion beating an Inactive once a year champion, he's hardly cleaned out the division.

Witter's still the best Light Welter regardless of lineal titles. :TU:

Herein lies the weakness of lineal titles. What if the lineal/magazine champ refuses to "defend" vs the "#1 contender" (aka WBC champ) in this case Witter.

It creates a controversy and then the worth of the champion falls into doubt. And it freezes out a really hard working, patient guy in Witter.

To be the lineal champ you have to "beat The Man" OR you have to be the winner between the #1 and #2 ranked in the division.

Hatton-Witter is one of those fihgts that should happen. The British angle. The #1 and #2 in the world angle. I think it can happen. Come on, do it for the Brits and for world boxing.

Hatton-Witter UK PPV #s would be impressive.

It looks as though even the casual fans and papers are slowly getting narked with Hattons avoidance of Junior
BOXER Ricky Hatton stated in his build-up to the Mayweather fight that he wanted to fight the world’s best.

But yet again we find him against a virtual unknown who hasn’t fought for a year. The bout the public want to see is Hatton v Witter.

Come on, Ricky, step up to the challenge ... or are you really the fraud that Floyd Mayweather claimed you are?

Exactly!

Shannon briggs was once the Linear champ - but no way the best in his division. KT was 3 years ago.

Witter Witter!

How HBO haven't picked this up for PPV is beyond me.

Hatton is the best fighter ever seen, not only by this country but in the world.

Yes he did lose against PBF but he is so good to watch

Name a more exciting boxer or better boxer. Hatton rules all

Witter got ranked for the WBC and then the title was vacated. Not his fault. All Hennessy fighters seem to go domestic, Euro and then, if good enough, WBC (as Froch is doing).

If Hatton wanted to upset Witter he could "unify" with Kotelnik and say "Kotelnik beat Witter."

It would be nice if they did fight. Hatotn had such a great night vs Tszyu. Nothing that came after was ever goign to match it. It's clear he isn't going to be a great, Tszyu-class champion, so I think it's important to take part in something exciting like an all-British grudge match with Witter.

Anyway, the best way to the top is to beat "the man." As Witter won a vacant belt, he'll have to face "the man", Hatton...Wait a sec, he'd been trying to get that fight before Hatton was even champ...

These arguments just will go round and round forever until they fight.

David Haye is good to watch because he only fights bums.

His one good opponent was a over the hill Mormeck.

If Carl Thompson can knock out Haye then Hatton probably could aswell

More bad news for Witter (and his fans) it seems:

Ricky is the hardest p4p pucher in the world and haye as a weak chin.

I know if Haye connected Hatton would not get up but IMO Haye would not get near Hatton

He's too quick for LWW so Haye at HW would struggle

If PBF bothers with this then it is a joke.

Hatton is shit.

If PBF wants this fight then it is a shame. BUT he wants the money.

Somehow I doubt the fight will happen... I hope not
