Aside from Bob Fitzsimmons, here is Sandy Saddler highlights:

Two-time World Featherweight Champion: 1948-49, 1950-56

World Jr. Lightweight Champion: 1950-56

Beat the great Willie Pep 3 out of 4, all of them by knockout.

Stopped ONCE in 162 contests. That means that he had a hell of a chin. And that happened in his second fight as a pro.

Had an undefeated streak of 37 bouts from June 1944 to January 1946. Winning along the way in 14 straight by knockout in 1945 alone.

17 of his 103 knockouts were produced in the 1st round.

Between August 1948 to August 1951, he only had 2 losses in 47 fights! He won 45 of them!!!

Beat 5 world champions and 3 hall of famers, possibly 4 if we include Paddy DeMarco.

Among his victims: Joe Brown (WTKO3), Pep (3 out of 4...all by KO), Paddy DeMarco (WTKO9...He lost to DeMarco twice), Harold Dade W10, Orlando Zulueta W10, Lauro Salas WTKO9, Tommy Collins WTKO5, Ray Famechon WTKO5, Teddy "Red Top" Davis W15, and Flash Elorde WTKO13, and Eddie Giosa WKO2....This is some kind of competition!!!

Considered, pound per pound, one of boxing's history greatest KO artists.

This guy, to me, proved it to be in the top 15 greatest fighters ever pound per pound.
