I'll take it that asking for a refund on the back of a tv show is borderline ridiculous, but saying that he is more interested in cash than boxing status is evidenced by the tv show.

Jordan and Peter; Kerry bleedin' Katona, and now 'At Home with the Hattons'??? Come on, even the most ardent Hatton fan (and I am a pretty big fan) can't defend that. He should be saying he doesn't want any distractions from fight preparation, not 'it's only a camera crew'. You must take my point about his mum and dad getting involved all the time now, it's a bit of a soap opera already and the last thing I want to see is him away from boxing.

This is the problem with this country, we develop 'celebrities' that are famous for nowt but being famous. If we have a close documentary on his training methods etc that would make for relatively interesting viewing, but if you're really interested in his mum, dad, girlfriend and brother pissing about at home or down the pub then you've got far too much time on your hands. Aren't we getting away from the fact that he's supposed to be a hardened ring warrior, a gladiator. OK if it sells a few tickets then show he is a down to earth person, but coming off the back of a stoppage defeat I want him to be ruthless and dedicated. If Billy Graham is all for a camera crew following Hatton round then he's gone more Hollywood than the rougharse trainer who got Hatton to where he is.
but none of this will distract from his usual training habits.

he's not gonna be off down the local boozing it up to make the documentary better is he.

the boxing is still the main goal for hatton. i just don't see the big issue here i really don't.
OK, do you think Billy Graham will like it? If not then maybe it's not the best of ideas.

I guess in some ways I'm complaining about celeb culture, and a bit disappointed that Hatton is getting involved in it. Don't see why he would want to.

I suppose as a big fan of Hatton's I want boxing to be the only goal for Hatton, not the main goal. And if you insinuate that he has other goals, what are they, and how will a tv show help him achieve them?

Just want to see a top quality boxer box, he had chance to be Britains best ever and it seems to be going into a bit of a circus.

Britain's greatest what???? and don't say the ol' boxin' game son you're having a laaaauuugghhhhhhhhh!!!!!!!!
i am LITERALLY considering pinching myself that you said that.

Rest assured the chances of me saying 'the ol' boxin game son' are extremely remote.

So he didn't have a chance of some major achievements getting a fight against the p-4-p best? And don't say that he didn't or you're having a laaaaaaaarrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrfffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffff.

Where did all that crap talking come from by the way? Can't you just contribute something intelligent?

And 'literally' considering pinching yourself? Christ man, don't think too much hey. A literal thought must have taxed you.

you can't make a clear distinction between a man with a massive fan base made greater by some exciting TV scraps and the numerous far more skillful boxers to have come out of this country. And you think I need to contribute something intelligent?
as for all the bollox, no I don't know where it come from either.........maybe you calling Ricky Hatton almost the best from where ever has a lot to do with it though. Hatton would have needed a miracle to beat Mayweather, get real.
He's not even the best WELTERWEIGHT of his GENERATION let alone the best boxer ever from Britain.......oh sorry you said almost didn't you
