Harrison will never be a world champion. He's no where near good enough. Harrison is what 6'6? with a huge reach. Sprott was beating Harrison to the jab in rounds 2 and 3 before the KO ffs. Sprott is Euro level at the very best.
What chance does he have against someone like Wladimir Klitschko? No chance in hell.

Baffles me how people still think he can be a world force coming off being clean KO'd by Michael Sprott!
If it's at all possible I think he'll be more gunshy when he returns. Fighters have come back from KO defeats before but not sure Harrison has it in him. He was petrified of being hit BEFORE getting cold cocked.

Now David Haye has entered the equation, Harrison couldnt possibly be the best in Britain and as for the world lets all have a laugh. Some amateurs just dont do well in the paid ranks.

Key difference though, is Amir can fight a bit.
Khan has alot more tools than Harrison... he's a 12 round fighter for kick off with a great work rate.
And he aint frightend of taking one.
I know, he's doing much better than Aud so far. I was just seeing some parallels between their careers, such as Khan's not yet having proved himself the best in Britain. Waylon's point about top amateurs not becoming good pros could still apply to Amir. His style hasn't evolved to that of a fully-fledged pro yet. Time will tell, but I agree he is much more of a fighter than AH.

Great to see you back on here Chesh. I get your point shout too much and Campbell or Pacman could shut him up. He needs more fights simple as. I do agree with Stu, Khan is a far better fighter by a long way than Harrison.
I hate dissing a professional boxer because it makes me feel like a right arm chair general - I haven't laced up a pair of gloves for over a decade - but Audley just isn't cut out to be a prize fighter.
The physical attributes are all present and correct save perhaps for stamina and he's also proven that he can be an excellent front runner - his performance in the second Williams fight was outstanding.
But when presented with a difficult scenario his idea bank seems to run dry, his confidence evaporates and he starts fighting apprehensively.
That was exactly what happened against Micheal Sprott, from the middle of the second round after it became obvious that Sprott wasn't going to capitulate after weathering the initial offensive, Audley IMO had written himself off which is the most dangerous thing a heavyweight can do.
His name and olympic stardom are probably enough to pave the way for another shot at a British or European title should he mange to come through his next fight with the victory, but I genuinely fear it will lead to him tarnishing his amateur legacy further still and possibly getting seriously hurt.
I was happy to get behind 'Big Aud' after his Olympic success, but the talk behind that Olympic Gold medal foregone conclusion undisputed HW champ third person persona yielded to his actual performances. At an early stage we all got bored and some were indifferent whilst were more vitriolic.
If he can produce something that resembles the verbal hype of his first incarnation I would be happy to wish him well in the sport.
