So sounds like Khan will resign with Warren then.

Ref was obviously told to jump in and stop it at the first chance. VERY premature. Khan would have probably won anyway but Gomez was landing some very nice inside work and hurting Amir and making him hold on. Not Amirs fault it was premature and he fought back nicely but Gomez deserved a fair shake with that effort

Well, I think it was a flash knockdown in round 2- a good punch, caught him, but he rose and fough on well. If he WAS hurt (he says he wasn') he reacted to it well. Also he did take a hurtful body shot, again seem to take it well.

I am talking about the body shot, but I reckon he was hurt from the KD as well.

Sad news BUT Gomez wasn't getting stopped in that round unless the ref jumped in. He'd taken plenty of shots like that and wasn't . At least give him the chance to fight back. After all he threw a punch 2-3 punches before the ref jumped in, he may have punched back in the next few seconds and I think would have but wasnt given the shot. If Khan had landed another 2-3 without reply after that combo then it would have been a fair stoppage but Gomez had taken similar shots throughout and came back. Gomez himself complained a little about the stoppage

Thought the stoppage was spot on, The ref could
have chosen to stop the fight in any of the
previous rounds,We,ve seen plenty of opponents of Khans stopped earlier taking less punishment.
