Great light HW . . .simply a decent Heavyweight. I don't see Spinks beating any of the other top contenders in that era (Tucker, Tubbs, Witherspoon etc.) Holyfield-Spinks at 190 would've been interesting.
I agree for the most part.

Though I felt Cooney might still be dangerous because of his size and power, IMO he was still less of a threat than some of the other contenders/titleholders around at that time who Spinks never fought.

I've always felt Tucker was the best heavyweight Tyson ever fought. And if I'm not mistaken, that's the guy Spinks was stripped for not fighting.

For me when Charles beat Archie Moore it was because on those nights (and those nights only) Charles was the better fighte.
Frazier never had to come off a three year layoff to fight an active Ali. Moore was a great fighter, but Charles seems the clear better.
