Maskaev is slow as hell Haye by KO round no.2

Peter is chinny now? Because of a couple of knockdowns! Klitschko landed a few bombs on him and he didn't go down I wouldn't say he's chinny at all. Your logic (or lack of) defies belief sometimes.Max Molyneux wrote:Shirow wrote:I think that clip detracts from your argument. I didn't see any evidence that Maskaev was shot. His is a well schooled boxer who went toe to toe with Samuel Peter, didn't dropped but got hurt more than he hurt Peter.Max Molyneux wrote: Haye will perform well, Maskaev Is even slower now and won't tell us a thing about Haye at HW. Maskaev maybe a Natural heavy but he's too shot to give Haye any trouble now. Will be like the Maccarinelli fight were Haye starts fast and hits hard enough to stagger him then stops him with a flurry when Oleg's too shaky to continue.

A top 10 ranking In the WBC doesn't mean your good enough to still be top 10. Haye won't be backing up his horribly cringing trah talk either.
Oleg is a recent world champ and a legit top HW. He's a good opponent for the same reason i wanted Ibragimov. Everyone will be able to directly compare Haye's perfomance against Peter's (Wlad's) perfomance.
Who should Haye be fighting instead? Who has recently fought in better company and is not scheduled?
Also i think Maskaev will come in hungry it would be a high profile win for him and i was very impressed with the shape & performance he put in against Samil Sam when he could have very easily been under motivated.
No, the clip still shows how slow he's become and worn out. Peter Isn't that good of a champion anyway, he's been exposed as chinny as well and his power Is controversial as he's hitting opponents to the back of the head first before the KO shots.
Alot of what I say defies belief due to many peoples over sensitivity. Your last sentence reeks of It. Least I didn't hype up Lacy and Pavlik as threats to Calzaghe. You even thought Hatton achieved more than Joe because of one win over Tszyu.nickd wrote: Peter is chinny now? Because of a couple of knockdowns! Is it laughable to say Hatton's win over Tszyu is better than any Calzaghe win? Arguable maybe but certainly not laughable. Not like comparing Pavlik to Gatti or some of the stuff you come out with about Pacquiao.Max Molyneux wrote:Alot of what I say defies belief due to many peoples over sensitivity. Your logic Is far worse.
McCline ain't a puncher either, Klitschko was landing at close distance without full reach that's why and many landed on the top of his skull too rather than the chin. Alot of holding too In the Wlad and Peter fight as well for them to have time to shake off the last shot.
Calzaghe's wins over Kessler and Lacy shit over the Tszyu win. Tszyu's the bigger name obviously but It's how they won In my opinion, Hatton and Tszyu fouled each other and went to war while Joe outclassed both his guys who were considered threats.Lenny wrote:Is it laughable to say Hatton's win over Tszyu is better than any Calzaghe win? Anyway I certainly wouldn't label Peter chinny because of one fight that he came back to win.
And blood shouldn't come out of my arse-hole, but it does....Max Molyneux wrote: A good chinned fighter doesn't get dropped by the bulky McCline either.

Probably something like 'Nathan Cleverley is better than Tavoris Cloud because he is trained by Enzo Calzaghe and because he has knocked out less people, which means he is more skilled as he has to relly less on power'Lenny wrote:Calzaghe's win over Lacy shits over Hatton win over Tszyu? I don't think that Mormeck and Maccarinelli are better than Lacy and Kesslar because I just don't think Maccrinelli is that good.yiddo14 wrote:It's certainly a shocking statement to make!Lenny wrote:Calzaghe's win over Lacy shits over Hatton win over Tszyu? I put it to Max that Haye's wins over Mormeck and Maccarinelli are better than Joe's over Lacy and Kessler.
Ricky's win over the all time great Tszyu tops the lot.
Haye's wins were great, the Tszyu win beats Hayes two though, Hatton had less of a struggle In his win while Haye struggled a little with Mormeck.yiddo14 wrote:It's certainly a shocking statement to make!Lenny wrote:Calzaghe's win over Lacy shits over Hatton win over Tszyu? Anyone ever agree with your hypocritical nonsense?Oversensitive how? What are you on?
Yeah you're the most logical person here Max I think everyone would agree with that.![]()

Does anyone ever agree with the rubbish you write?
Yes. And there are many occasions when the opponent hasn't lasted the 12 rounds. Paquaio-Diaz just the other week, for example. Or does Diaz not making the final bell make that a lesser performance?Max Molyneux wrote:
Joe destroying Lacy was the most one sided beating I've seen In boxing, has any other fighter won every second of the 12 rounds so easy with any fighter regardless of their level?
Oh, and surely you're taking the piss with this. Hatton went tooth and nail with a guy who'll be in the hall of fame within a decade. Haye had a hard fight against a very good fighter. Both fantastic wins. Glad you recognise that Hatton's win over Tszyu as being a great win though. Singularly better than anything Joe has done..Max Molyneux wrote:

I do regonise It as a great win.states wrote:Oh, and surely you're taking the piss with this. Hatton went tooth and nail with a guy who'll be in the hall of fame within a decade. Yeah, he didn't stop him and he cuffs shots due to bad hands or the cuffs cause the hands to Injure but it doesn;'t take anything away from the performance just because he didn't stop him.Yes. True, but McCline Isn't very quick either to deliver KO punches with his bulky weight. Peter's bulkiness didn't keep him up strangely either.Terry D wrote:If a guy weighing more than 15 stone twats you on the chin the chances are that you are going down.Max Molyneux wrote:Alot of what I say defies belief due to manynickd wrote: Peter is chinny now? As for Tszyu, Lacy or Kessler. One of those guys is going to be remembered. Kessler is touch-and-go based on his last fight. Could the fact thay you got into boxing around 2005 and watch very little 'old' stuff be contributing to the nonsense you spout about Tszyu?
Rubbish Max, you have to take into account the quality of the opponent otherwise you may as well say Hatton's performance against Pendleton was better than Joe's performance against Lacy. Yes Joe looked great but Lacy was marching forward onto his punches all night long and was made for Calzaghe to look great, as a performance i'd rank it equal to Wright over Trinidad but not over Paquiao v Diaz. Hatton had to dig deep and beat Tszyu the best way there is, it was a tougher fight, against a far far better opponent than Joe's win over Lacy. The two are not really comparable. I'd say Hatton going toe to toe and stopping Castillo is a better win than Joe over Lacy.Max Molyneux wrote:I do regonise It as a great win.states wrote:Oh, and surely you're taking the piss with this. No way was It better than the one sided beatdown Joe delivered on Lacy though, althought namewise Tszyu Is better but I'm going off performance.
