That's a lie!
You are Paddy "nobody knows me" Dolan, the crooked manager of Biff Cline.

I was scheduled to have a television bout with Ray Elson when it was discovered I padded my record with three bouts that turned out to be bogus....

Jaclem,
You see how collins[alias TheOne] trashes any boxrec thread he pleases.
collins/TheOne turns boxrec into garbage.

Despite my more or less undistinguished record I knocked out a great featherweight with a single punch.
Something the great Benny Leonard never did in several fights with the same featherweight.

A highlky skilled boxer, I lost a decision in my chance at the lightweight title.
Years later I refereed a number of important fights.

I am the only fighter to beat both a certain heavyweight champion and a certain welterweight-middleweight champion.
I won my title overseas.

Although never anything but a featherweight,
I scored knockouts over THREE lightweight champions.

I jumped from holding the welterweight title to fighting lightheavyweights,
and got a shot at the 175 title, which I lost by decision.

I gave Max Baer a boxing lesson,
but Primo Carnera was too large and strong for me when I got my big chance.

I always caught an opponent's jab with my open right hand.
I had the best jab in the business.
I was the best fighter, technically, of my time and one of the best of any time.
My counterpunches started almost before my opponent's lead was thrown.
I won a title in my division late in my career
and lost it to a much lesser fighter than I was on a dubious 'decision.'

I am a blowhard, self-promoting boxing 'trainer' much celebrated by the clueless media.
I claim that I knocked Kid Gavilan down in a sparring session and that I boxed rings around Joe Louis, even though I was much smaller than he was.
All this despite the fact that I never had a pro fight.
And the clueless media stooges believe every word I say and dutifully write them down.
One of the fighters I trained [with much fanfare] for a big fight lasted 58 seconds and another lasted 91 seconds.
It was their fault--not mine.

I was thinking of Patterson.
Thanks for making me aware of Maxim's win over Walcott.
I know he fought Walcott several times and was not KO'd, but I didn't know he beat Walcott.
Just looked it up.
They fought three times.
Maxim won the first, lost the next two--all by decision.

I would love to get my hands on the Maxim-Walcott fights.
I only have a compressed version of the Patterson fight, I
thought young Floyd did pretty well against such a talented
veteran like Maxim. Its ashame that it was only a 8 rounder.

I was taken over to Sweden by Angelo Dundee,
and I did the job he wanted me to.
Every morning during the days before the fight I 'refereed,' I had breakfast with Angelo.

That referee-and sole judge that robbed Patterson of his victory
over Jimmy Ellis.
Good fight, very bad decision.
