Well considering he couldn't TKO a retired Lazcano and Cotto couldn't stop Malignaggi despite knocking him down early and cutting him - on what basis do you think Hatton would TKO him easily considering he was extremely poor in his last fight and KO'd in the one before that.

Anyone who thinks Malignaggi is KO'ing Hatton must be nuts. They could give odds of a million to one and it wouldn't be worth touching. That brittle fisted little clown couldn't KO Ricky Hatton if he wore a set of knuckle dusters.
Malignaggi made his name taking a beating off a severaly weight weakened Cotto who could only muster a couple 20 second bursts in each round, and yet still left Malignaggi looking like he'd been worked over with a tyre iron.
Since then he teamed up with Eddie Cotton to beat N'dou, and then he's looked shocking in getting disputed nods over N'goujo and N'dou, and he was also shaken up in both of those fights and neither man is known for power........Hatton/Malignaggi will see Malignaggi exposed and beat up.
But if some want to go 'oddschasing' ....then by all means plump for the upset and throw your money away!

Cotto was drained at the weight, Welter Cotto would have sparked him.

Lazcano was in the shape of his life and was in a nothing to lose everything to gain opportunity. Hatton was also coming off a loss and yet still managed to win near enough every moment of the fight. Lazcano realised early he couldn't compete with Hatton punch for punch and so hung tough and tried to land fight finishers every now and again. He managed to rock Hatton twice using this tactic, but apart from that took a steady hiding on the way to a lopsided loss.
Cotto at the time he fought Malignaggi was looking like a prisoner of war. He was literally killing himself to make 140 and could only fight in short bursts. Despite this he still beat Malignaggi, dropped him twice and cut and bust his face up.
I see plenty of reason to believe Hatton could stop Malignaggi on the back of looking at this evidence.
