Says a lot about thw quality of the show when the main talking point is the ring announcer. Seriously- we are boxing fans , and to us that show was weak. Imagine how the regular sportsfan who just tunes into Sky Sports on a Friday evening for a bit of entertainment feels?

If you look at the viewing figures for boxing, it looks like the regular sports fan just doesn't bother tuning in to these bills any more



You cant really blame them for that, either

I return to my point, a proper fight for a proper title against a proper opponent!

Im not saying that Ricky Burns rocks my world, and I agree this would have been better as an undercard fight, or a joint main event..but to say its crap is too much, ive seen far worse on the TV

I seriously think some on here didnt realise that Akaba beat Munyai last time out, I truly feel that they belived he was some no mark African come from obscurity and all set to return there after the final bell
