Eff off, there's nothing wrong with the weed, if you're going to stretch things that far, then you need to blame the fella who invented the first firearm, or the gangsta rap culture that spawned these little dickheads who carry because they're terrified of getting their asses kicked.

"gangsta rap culture"
Indeed that is one of the biggest influences in these "gangstas" and for anybody who disagrees with me take a look at how they dress and how they speak. Funny thing is though they ain't real gangsters as real gangsters have more morals these lot are just the lowest of the low who seem to think they have to blow someones head off or stab somebody to death to get respect. I've had guns pointed right at my face, I've been shot at, I've had explosive rounds going off all around me and I'll tell you what, it's FVCKING TERRIFYING and sometimes I wonder how these little pricks would be feeling if it was them staring down the barrel of a gun.

The reason society has problems is because of cowardly name calling idiots like u talk rubbish indiscrimanetly.
You dont know the first thing about me yet you behave like a thug namecalling me when all i did was mention the other side of the story and than kill its validity . I put forward a reasonable point of view. and i dont wish to debate with idiots who use phrases like plonker and "wishy washy liberal".So im a liberal who advocates the death penalty!!?? Go back to reading the sun newspaper stupid. i dont have anything to prove to u. Ive very briefly been a proffesional fighter albeit an unsuccesfull one, Ive been inside prison where i took beatings and ive also gone back to college so i could get qualified and now i work as a youth worker . All this at 29 years old I rehabbiliated myself after rough teenage years. So i think im qualified to speak a little as i come from the same streets as james.

Although you speak sense latterly, the early point of your post is utterly reprehensible, in my opinion."
At least yours is an intelligent opinion and one i am happy to discuss as u sound reasonable.
I didnt say anything about oyebola being at fault far from it. I just said that the way society is these days most of us have to turn the other cheek and hope the police do their job. This isnt comparable to a gary newlove being beaten to death outside his house in front of his wife and daughters for trying to stop some teenage thugs from stealing his car. It was over a cigarette someone else was smoking and james and his family and property werent threatened directly. James had the chance to back down when the warning shot was fired but he didnt. and despite his bravery he paid with his life. The kunt who did it will do a minimum 28 years and probably nearer 35. Im still appalled the others were allowed to get away scott free that is an outrage.
All i said was sometimes you have to be smart and not get involved. james paid with his life over a trivial cigarette. Very sad

This whole argument is more complicated than someone like harrygreb can understand.
people can say the police and prison guards should be allowed to beat thugs and gangsters indiscriminately. But you people most of u who have never been abused or cheated by a police man in your life dont understand that many thugs, bullies and cowards are attracted to jobs like the police force, army and prison warden-ing so that they can bully and beat innocent people for no reason . Such people in these jobs do not discriminate between who deserves it or doesnt and as such they are just as bad as these tennage hoodies and thugs aho are a scourge on decent people.
I beleive if james oyebola were alive the great man himself would speak against the racist police and some prison warders who are like this. Maybe if the london police who let steophen lawrence die werent so racist james would have felt confident calling them instead of having to do their job for them and pay with his life
as a teenager i had policemen plant evidence on me and beat me in cells. I was stopped on streets for no reason and slapped. Long before i had a criminal record for minor things
I had prison warders who routinely beat people in prison on minor crimes (shop lifting and assault on people who deserved it) in their cells, yet they would be best pals with hardedned criminals like drug dealers.
Also with capital punishment it has to be in the hands of religious authorities, as in the past the police planted evidence and innocent people died.
All of this is because people dont have religion in their lives now, they dont appreciate hard work and religious values like gentleness, modesty, chastity.
Im black but i see the rampant problems in the black communities which are to blame.

What a terrible post by 'Mugabi', trying to defend the indefensible."
Let me educated you. re "Oyebola was always known as a gentle giant. " Yeah he must have been walking around with a big sign on his head saying Im a big gentle giant, and those murdering scum were supposed to understand that. oh my mistake they must have forgot he was a big friendly giant who happened to have beaten men in the ring for a living ? thugs dont care u idiot thats why its best to avoid them and call the police like james should have. use your brain. re "I'll bet there's no way anybody else in that bar would have the balls to speak up and ask those guys to behave themselves" yeah so according to u all those other law abiding tax paying people with families in that bar who didnt go up to confront kaylanga and his mob and ask them to put out a cigarette are all cowards with "no balls"? theyre cowards in your book arent they? and according to u mr oyebola who paid for his life, did "the right thing" in confronting them. it sounds to me like u think it was worth dying for and that oyebola got what he deserved . u are a sick sad little man. I wonder whether u or harrygreb have the courage of your convictions and would have had the courage to tell the thugs to put our their cigarettes. Nah i dont think so your just good for talking about it on the net.
if your true to your convictions lets replicate this situation. I want you two to go out tonight in any town cente and go and look for misbehaving yobs, when u see them i want u to ask the yobs who are puking on the street, pissing in the street, littering, not to do it, and see if it gets you anywhere except in a hospital.
My advice is use your brain and call the police thats what theyre there for. Vigilanti-ism has its place but not when it puts your life at risk.
if you followed the case you'll know James was shot in the back of the head with the fifth shot in a hail of bullets. Either way James didnt deserve to die and he will be rememberd as a man of great respect and courage and achievement. While Kalanga will have a long time to regret his actions and should die and go to hell he will never have children, never screw or drink beer for 30 years
Games like GTA and gangster rap should be banned

mugabi wrote:Games like GTA and gangster rap should be banned
Why?
Millions of people worldwide play games like GTA and listen to gangster rap but it doesn't make them criminals, I often play GTA whenever I have some spare time to myself but I've never felt the urge to go out and chop off a prostitutes head. You're on about spoiling fun for millions of people because of the actions of a few. You may remember a story about a 14 year old boy who was murdered by his 17 year old friend who happened to be obsessed with the game "Manhunt," now first of all the 17 year old shouldn't have even had that game in his possession because after all it is 18 rated so maybe the shop that sold it to him should have been prosecuted or even perhaps his parents bought it for him in which case they should be prosecuted also.
Violent movies and computer games are given age restrictions for a reason but retailers seem to ignore these rules because they're only interested in the money. Maybe if the penalties for retailers was more severe for selling movies, games, alcohol etc. to people who are underage then it will go a long way to helping prevent this.

There are lots of arguments about lots of things regarding the way we live and how we should conduct our selves. At the end of the day we should be able to live our lives as we wish 'according to the law'. if we do not abide by the law all hell breaks lose. there are thing within the law that we do not like, or agree with but we have to abade by the rules set by the government og the United Kingdom.
Is it right that individuals should/can walk around with kinves, and guns?. is it right that if some one breaks into your home you have the right to shoot them dead? We all habve our own thought what is right and wrong but in law that is not always the correct thought or decision, even though most of the British public have the same thought on murderers and peodoe's ect.
I would not like to think I was in a bar surrounded by gun weilding thugs and maniacs with knives tucked into there trouser belts. I'm not in any position to think i could defend myself against such threat.
We now live in a sociaty that has lost its way in life, i can think of reasons why but that is my opinion, and i dare say will be the same as others, but if i express my opinion i will be classed as.......well i can't say because we are governed by so many rules that protect so many, and the many are the ones who have made this country as it is. Who feels safe these days, be honest, ask your parents and grandparents how they feel about society these days.
I'm glad i was born in the 60's ill be dead in 20 years or so, but ill tell you this countery is fucked up, when i was a preteen we never had any of this shit whats happening today. The government are too frightend to make a stand, the reason is they do not want to lose votes!

Racist?
Look my friend, Im a 6ft 2 black guy from South London and a youth worker to boot.
I'll tell u exactly when this country went wrong. On the one side you had thatcher and her violent police who beat miners and blacks and asians. This created ill feeling. Now the police could quite rightly argue that most of the violent and petty theft and armed robbery crimes in London were done by black men. and that is right its a fact. But the black guys were also excluded from opportunities. But than u look at asians they were excluded too but somehow they got into the system lawfully and didnt need to riot as much or cry racism.
The truth is a major reason for all the knife crime etc is black teenage culture in this country and the general violent proclivities of Jamaican culture being so attractive to lower working class whites. london council estate white girls gave up their bodies to black men who walked out on the babies. These white women were left to bring up kids without fathers and in many cases their own families deserted the white girl for sleeping with a black. So first thing no discipline to be adminstereed from the father. No male role model. Anyway So the white girls sought solace with other single west indian black girls with babies with no present father. Black west indian girls are as no one sane man would dispute the most foul mouthed , overweight , uselesss women. Lazy and carrying only about their appearence and instant gratification, education and upbringing mean nothing to these women. They had the X factor type shallowness 30 years before the tv show started as far as their communities in london go. These black girls have always had a huge impression on the lowest of the white working class girls, who in turn ape their behaviour and copy their attitude and style. The style is that of a lazy, sex obsessed slut and "bitch". The bitch style was and is to criticise the absent black father and blame him for everything. In turn these babies grow up hating males and thats why you see them always fighting with knifes and guns and behaving lawlessly with no discipline or respect for law and order. Hell if there was never any order in the house and just a succession of "uncles" called dwayne, wayne and delbert what hope was there for young lennox? This general "bitchiness" has permeated just about all of london teenage society now and every housing estate. Its insane but white kids many of them from middle class backgrounds all speak with this kind of "grime-ndubz-so solid crew " type accent. cos they want to be black. Add the plethora of violent video games and mobile phones and the youtube generation of instant gratification and u see how violence has spread and humility and hard work mean little to this "cash convertors-dss bank transfer generation"
Its all pathetic and when u add to the mix the general moral decline and obsession with celebrity and lack of education of most working classs since the early 80's than u see how society has gone down.
As a prominent black youth worker I have gone on twin projects to other cities like paris,Berlin and Barcelona. And paris has a problem with arab and black youth akin to London with its black teenage and mulatto communties.
Am I proud of this. No but what i would say is that in general african communities are a lot more peaceful than the british community of jamaican origin.
Im myself am of jamaican origin and im fighting the ignorance through the system through the "lifez not griefs" programme. Thats why i tried to show matanga#s point of view before dismissing it.
Me and james oyebola came from the same area i know from his press cuttings on community initiatives he had many of the same views as me.
Im sure ill get some ignorant idiot screaming my views are racist. But i am the product of a white mother and absent black father I speak from the heart

The black community is a mess.
The Black community has no real role models or leaders and the guys I know who work in the community to help some of these kids are over the moon if 1% of them turn out ok. This stinking gangsta rap bling bling rubbish influences the ignorant impressionable youth of today.
A lot of it is the lack parenting skills and lack of respect the kids today have for their parents.
I despair at the ignorance of my own people.
Utter disgust.
( Of course there are good sections in the Black community but we need much more publicity for the areas/sections that are doing well - the media will never report it because it does not make good copy)

Very suprising too here a black man blame things on blacks, can't say i agree 100% but its a good start . Personaly i think its the lack off balls shown by the govt is too blame for most of it , the courts don't do there job , the govt don't build enough prisons.Over the last 20 years the hard gangsta culure has managed to sneak in through lack of respect for the parents teachers police and each other , .
Who's got the answers fack knows , but one sure way to fixing the problem is for more people to have Mugabis attitude and lay blame where it lies and not scream about being picked on , we don't have a black problem its black and white its a social problem .
Personaly i feel theres a few things a STRONG GOVT could do start with build more jails and then fil them mandatory long sentences for violent crimes, habitual crims lock them up for a long time . and the crux off the matter make people work stop payments if your a single mother or whatever don't give money give food stamps . stop unemployment benefits make every able bodied person work if they can't find a job make them do community work , they need to learn to respect themselves before they can respect others .
These thugs do respect people but they only respect the people who are bigger and badder than they are , bring back national service , deport crims who were not born here , get strong get tuff , and who gives a fack iff there black or white, .a killer cannot kill again swinging from the gallows , a 2-3rd time mugger cannot mug again from a prison cell for life . and another thing , take away all priviliges in the jails , no tele no radio no nothing make prison a place where YOU DON'T WANT TO GO. Saturday night entertainment can be listenning too the screams up the corrider off the tough litlle fornicator getting gang raped.
How many off us live ina area where you can't leave your car for 2 min but Joe blo the local thug can walk off into the pub stay 4 hours and leave his keys in it cos the locals know him and respect him and are scared off what will happen if he finds out its them that took it.
Well but Joe blo in the nick to start with and make them respect the law.

That's it exactly!
'gangsta rap' violent movies and video games are influenced by crime itself.
GTA is the biggest selling game world wide yet like I said that doesn't mean everyone who buys it will turn into a drug dealing murdering 'gangsta,' the reason why games get the blame is because it's easier to blame the games than get to the root of the problem.
Sure they can influence people, gangsta rap especially but you can't just blame them for turning someone to crime, what about bad parenting, poor education, lack of support from the government etc.

People say crime and violence were around before video games like GTA existed.
Yeah but these twin evils were never glorified in electronic entertainment media in the family home before! and that in itself shows u how low society has sunk.
This video game encouraged people to go out and kill haitains. And to rob and beat prostitutues.
In the game the life of a criminal is made out to be cool and that somehow a criminal is a higher class than a hard working person.
Ive played and completed the game myself and beaten office workers and stole their cars in the game.
One kid I counsel who was done for happy slapping he admitted he owned the game and when pressed said it had influenced him.
And the argument for building more prisons and sending violent tennage prisoners as far away from home is a sound one.
Take them out of the gang culture that exists in london prisons. where at times its a fornicating friends reunited convention. Only the hotel is paid for by the taxpayers.

Kind words but I would kindly say stick with the IT job.
My previous criminal record counts against me in jobs id like to do like IT. But hell its my own fault. See im trying to be a righteous man and they say a righteous man is a powerful one.
You work in IT, its clear the computer world has been smiling on you, dont you dare frown back at it!!!!
I have to wake up everyday and when my 7 year old kid tells me he wishes he lived in a georgian terrace in Notting Hill like his friends with succesfull parents I have to tell him his dad, traded in his education opportunities...... his GCSE's....... respect from teachers.......and a potential £60,000 year job so that he could hang about on street corners stealing from shops, and get a job counselling scumbag pissants who rob grannies so that they can buy drugs!!!!!
and now im supposed to rehabillitate them.
I work play the martyr though, People like James Oyebolo wont be the last to suffer.
Another problem has been the free availability of cheap supermarket food. Id love there to be a law to force these big butted west indian sluts to go and work on a farm all day and break a nail picking fruit so they'd appreciate that food they put down their mouths more.
