I would rather see him have a shot a the Commonwealth Title.

there's no way cronje would lose to haumono .cronje may have been koed in south africa but you forgot to mention that was for the south african title . now what title has haumono held nsw that's it hasn't fought for anything else . now i will tell you work in progress nathan briggs was koed twice to colin wilson and he still had the guts to get in the ring with him over twelve rounds for the opbf title arguably the best title in the southern hemisphere and comfortably out box him because he has fought the top guys in australia and held the australian title as well . he has fought weaker opposition as well but also good ones that haumono hasn't.
now to suggest haumono a nsw title holder only fight for a commonwealth crown is laughable

The South African Heavyweight title? Big deal!
He was beaten by Osborne Machimana, who does not have the flashest record on earth. Machimana has a loss to Nel, who Kali Meehan wiped out in three rounds.

i could say the same thing about the australian title and hoppa getting smashed by ben edwards in how many seconds but i won't because any national title regardless new zealand whatever is a big deal and hoppa in his two years experience had a lot more heart than haumono in how many years he's been in the game didn't even want to try because he knew what the result was going to be .now don't tell me that mirovic wouldn't have the same experience as cliff couser .but haumono just didn't want to have a go. now don't tell me cronje wouldn't have

you also forgot to mention osborne machimana had a rematch with nel and also knocked nel out just before kali meehan got to nel

I did not mention that Cameron beat Machimana either. Or that Machimana got KOed earlier this year by 42 year old Joseph Chingangu.

Haumona's record is surprising short. He had eight fights between 2000 and 2002, went back to football for about five years and has had another seven fights since march last year . Cronje has really beaten nobody.
Which aging Englishman is having a turn at the Commonwealth title at the moment?

you also didn't mention machimana knocked out corrie sanders out in the first round the guy who knocked out wladmir klitchko in two rounds so he's had some good wins as well . now he's just fought again and got his south african title again . so he obviously runs hot and cold so we don't know what machimana cronje fought .but i will go on cronjes last performance when leapai threw bombs at cronje . cronje had the experience to not let it get to him he remained very calm didn't panick and just stuck to the game plan even under so much pressure he wasn't going to quit .now the panicking that was going on in the haumono couser fight and soloman wasn't under half the pressure .cronje was .you could see in his face he didn't want to be there.and thats against couser who's on his way out . so could you imagine him fighting cronje who's already take double the pressure and still dished out his own good shots who's on his way up. he hasn't got the experience to handle it or a commonwealth shot.

If you hook a comebacking 42 year old (who has fed recently only on Colin Wilson and Bispo) in the ribs you will usually drop him.

We have said enough about the Australian Heavyweight title recently. The holder is usually somebody who cannot win another title. It has been shamelessly devalued.

the old 42 year old joseph chingangu you have mentioned has a big punch he's rated 50 in the world out of 1094 heavyweights as far as hit him in the ribs is concerned i would like someone do that to george foreman at that age big bangers don't lose their punch .now wheres soloman haumono rated 121 even osborne machimana has got a higher rating . now as far as the australian heavyweight title is concerned john hopoate is diservedly rated a lot higher than soloman haumono . john is 73 for having faced an honest test in bob mirovic .now what test has haumono faced to even consider a commonwealth title .when he won't even face cronje or any of the top eight in oz i have mentioned

Haumono is being avoided. Give me a yell when he loses a fight.
Give me a yell when your great white hope beats somebody decent.

haumonos not being avoided have don't make me laugh just ask any of the managers or any of the top eight fighters they would love that fight
as far as the great white hope cronje i didn't bring him up as an opponent for haumono i said any of the top eight in oz .he's not willing to fight any of them . now as far as the australian title and john hopoate go . he will go a lot further than soloman because he was willing to come out of his comfort zone and learn something and he believes in himself soloman doesn't otherwise he would not be fighting the blokes he's been fighting

Hopoate was a winger. Haumona was a front row forward. Wingers do not beat up front row forwards.
Fitzgerald is a terminal loser.
Mirovic is due for a pension.
Wilson is over the hill
Leapai lost to Wilson.

This is pointless, Soloman is growing old and isnt fighting anyone never mind who. He needs to step up now as he proved against Couser that he can beat a half decent fighter even though sick.
I think anyone in the top 8 in Aus would be good for a warm up to go overseas. He cant take this amount of time off and expect to fight for the Commenwealth title he would get massacred.

leapai is improving rapidly and certainly a dominant force in heavyweight division who ducks no one, learns a major lesson against wilson which i'm sure it won't happen again, a little bird told me wilson wants briggs b 4 retiring and alex wants hoppa, haumono, wilson, briggs & mirovic
Haumono as i have realise has a paded rec apologies to every one and a good challenge to put him to the test would be briggs who's been calling him out last few years, Mark Demori and my Melbourne boxer Kim Heta also a rising star big things from Heta, expect a rematch of solo v couser
Hoppa vs Mirovic 2

Wingers do not beat up front row forwards.
No, they just blindside them, ala Keith Galloway (Hoppa's last NRL victim)!

Grew up playing the game. I remember John "Fingers" Hopoate from his time at Wests and Manly. Guys he fights should be thankful he has to wear gloves or they would find out another meaning for a "low blow."
