Jess Willard had one big powerful jab,along with a good right uppercut,namely those and his sheer size was what got him to and winning the belt.
What was Mc Carty's style?

Can you imagine what would have haapened to Jack Johnson's career,if
McCarty had defeated Pelkey and then fought Johnson in Las Vegas New Mexico instead of Fireman Jim Flynn,and Mc Carty died from his condition there,what ever it was.

Carl Morris's carrer became derailed very early in his career after loosing a bloody battle
(via head butts?) with Fireman Jim Flynn.
Morris later used his natural talents as a dirty fighter and therefore became at least a more dangerous opponent later on.
Question/A more seasoned "Dirty"Carl Morris vrs Jack Johnson in Paris in 1913.
Does he at least do damage to Johnson before any DQ?

More to the point, he had only been boxing a couple of years in '13. It wasn't until '14 that he beat any contender types, so he wasn't ready by a long shot until the Moran fight whom he beats a couple of years after Johnson. Big, strong, dirty and KO artist of the era. Would've been a much bigger threat than Moran and Battling Johnson were.

When the bout ended the right side of Morris' face was battered out of shape. His right eye was completely closed in the third round, and not even a bit of surgical work by one of his attendants, who lanced the swollen flesh beneath the eye, did anything to restore sight to the closed optic. His mouth was out of shape, too, and a huge bruise extended from his temple to his lower jaw. It is doubtful if any pugilist has been battered out of shape as he was in this bout. New York Times

I see now as a novice he knocks out Hart and Schreck, so he must have been immensely powerful and naturally talented.

Morris was nothing special and his early wins over Hart and Schreck mean little as both were way over-the-top.

There were rumors at the time that the Hart outcome was rigged. Morris' manager Frank Ufer tried to fix the Jim Flynn fight until his efforts were exposed by Bat Masterson in the New York Morning Telegraph. As a result, Flynn fought on the level and administered a bad beating on the inexperienced Morris.

Anyone here seen the photograph of Luther Mc Carty and Arthur Pelkey taken
while they were posing for the cameras just before the fight started?
Notice how deep red Mc Carty's face and neck looked in contrast.
Maybe a blood vessel broke in his head even before the bell rang?

Yeah I have, but I never noticed the contrast in colors that you speak of. Maybe it was the lighting?
