Feel the same way, Bami just didn't seem up for it. But credit to Hatton, he did what he had to do and on paper it was a dangerous match to take. Forget the IBO, I'd like to see him in with some of the top british guys. Dunno what happened in the Watson fight though, by all accounts he was beaten easily.....

Stylewise I think Hatton will struggle against the better boxers but he is strong and busy

I turned it off after 4 or 5 rounds. Didn't look a very interesting fight. Bami's better days were a couple of years ago and at a lower weight. At least they gave him a fair amount of notice though.
That said if Bami had blitzed that Prizefighter field and not been on a shaky run of late, I think they'd have looked for somebody else.

Bami hasn't looked like he wanted it for a long time. I would say even as far back as the 2nd Lauri fight.

Matthew Hatton looks a bit sharper with more shots it would seem after Lee Beard took over.

I saw him fight in Notts on a Rendall undercard the other month and he was decent.

I'd like to see him fight Adnan Amar next.
