Really good fight. Dodson's cut was bad over the left eye and the welt under the right didn't help matters. Quigley did really well and found a second wind to pull through. He has potential I think.

His brother John-Lewis is a cruiser and also a big fornicator!!

Could be quite a nice little story developing - couple of brothers etc etc

Been a while since we have had something to shout about up here boxing wise

They reckon Travis will be a good turn

Why the ref counted amazes me, that is the most vicious shot I have seen since the right Haye gave to Enzo

Good old Brian Magee getting in on the act as well. Magee-Quigley will do for me :TU:

Hopefully Quigley can keep hold of the title but am not sure at that weight.

If he went down to MW am sure he'd look the part.

Magee will win comfortably, think he is a level above. Quigley obviously is a bigger puncher than his record suggests - but not big enough to beat Magee.

I do worry about how Quigley keeps his mouth open.

First time I've seen Groves, and he looks good :box:
I saw an interview on the Beeb with Groves a year or 2 ago. Didn't he get pipped to the Olympics by Degale? I thought he came across real good. But didn't Samuels contest the Brit title about 10 years ago? and been very inactive for a good while now?

What about Derry Matthews as well, that's another bad night for him. Saw Ramogadi in Hartlepool against some up and comer and he won I think, remember thinking what a tough fighter with some skill. Was surprised at how quickly Appleby blasted him out.
Ignore me I've mixed him up with Riaz Durgahed  who I saw give Mckeever and Sean Hughes a tough time.

The main fight was a cracker and i feel sorry for Dobson who i have always liked. Good work Hayemaker with the show which lost a few good match ups but still went ahead though needed to be in a smaller venue as the atmosphere was lost a bit in a two third empty hall.
they don't call it the Echo arena for nowt lad :D
