Yes. i'm not as swift as a Haye right hand, am I?
But I'm methodical.
An acquired taste.
But effective, I think.

People say Wlad is fragile, but you really think Mock would have got him in trouble?? I'm afraid Haye is way more vunerable than Wlad.
My god, if Haye had shipped one of those Sanders bombs, he'd still be asleep right now.

It's fine. I quite like that.
Happy with it, even.

I think you might be right. You know, I think Wlad might be stronger, and less fragile, yet still lose. Funny, eh?
That's because I think the winner will be the person who connects first.

Well, you could have said Bernard Hopkins but I'll settle for a good, underrated pro like Barney.
Hopkins would have been very bigheadded of me.

I am absolutely certain that we will see Wlad beat very badly in this fight. It's the speed, accuracy and power that's going to be Wlad's undoing. I reckon Wlad will be on the deck four or five times when the referee stops it in the 5th.

Yes, but I am not sure it will come early early early. I can see alot of mutual respect / stalking happening first... as the openining round for Enzo vs Haye was and Klitchsko has better survival instincts - so when Haye loses patients and starts lunging, Klitchsko will tie him up... but eventually, someone will land.
Hey mate - as much as I am wanting David Haye to win - if he does show Wlad respect and allows the "Big Man" to snap out his jab then he is in a whole lot of sh*t - I agree with those who state David should throw caution out of the window and go for it - really unsettle the Ukranian by having him constantly on the back foot so he cannot plant his feet and get any sort of power in his shots.

Got to say the fight has definitely got me excited - really looking forward to it.
Going to say it again - really p*ssed at Team Haye and this 3 fight deal - whilst I think David beats Wlad every day of the week - Vitali is a differnet proposition - he can take a shot - look at what happened in the Lennox fight he took some almighty shots.

People will laugh at this, but I think Haye would stop Vitali too. On his feet, that is.

You are not the first to say this - but is the heart ruling the head here - David has clearly taken a massive gamble here in accepting the 3 fight deal - whilst I completely disagree with it - I will also state David Haye has won a lot of people over by merely having the balls to go for it.
But lets get onto Vitali - what worries me is Vitali can take a shot - he seems more solid than David when on the receiving end of some punishment and therein lies my concerns.
Despite his hugely impressive array of shots and impressive speed - lets face it a time will come when David Haye will have to take some shots and at the moment that worries me.

It worries me too. David is chinny. I just hope he lands first against Wlad, which I am certain he will.

I really don't know who is the harder ask for Haye... Wlad is chinnier, but is BY FAR the better boxer. He has much more variety and is alot quicker.
Haye's up against it in both.. but if someone asked me "whose easier" my answer would be "I don't know". Vitali is slower, robotic and could get outboxed, but he has more of a "fighters" instinct and is far more durable. Wlad is an intelligent boxer (developed well under Steward) with faster hands, better combinations, and much more variety, but he is far less durable.
If Haye couldn't punch... I would be saying go for Vitali.
Spud - Haye likes to stalk, faint and threat these days - in the hope a fighter makes a mistakes and he can land the Hayemaker, Wlad is always thinking "defense" these days and is ultra cautious as he doesn't want to make a mistake.... thats why I can see it going maybe a few rounds before it catches fire. If you remember the first round of Enzo vs Haye was dull dull dull.

Does anyone see any scenario where this could go over 10.5 rounds? I'm racking my brains but can't think of one. That 1/2 for the under looks to me like free money.

I can't. Even if Volodymyr is happy to keep jabbing and try to win on points, Haye won't let it happen. It's all or bust for Haye.

Bit of an understatement that Spud!!
I really think Haye is actually just as fragile as Khan, when it comes down to it. The signs are certainly there. The big difference is, Haye fights a lot more intelligently than Khan, he's a better boxer, plus he's got that massive punch in either hand that can get him out of jail.

this is an insanely good bet. noone should miss out on this. They're giving it away! 99% it wont go 10.5 rounds and they're offering 1/2 for the under???
Everyone should pile on this seriously, how much easier can they give money away??? Get in while u can.

how much of a factor might it be if haye works wlad's body? the way he pummelled mormeck downstairs was a key factor in that win, I'm not sure if i have seen anyone really work either Klit downstairs, Haye will need to get inside anyway to avoid the jab......

That's a good shout, because Haye really landed some withering body shots against Mormeck, and Klitschko's stamina is similarly open to question. I would say, however, that going to the body against a taller opponent is going to leave him more open for counters than he was against Mormeck. Perhaps that's why nobody's tried going to the body on him before?
