Isn't he still doing the bins cos Maloney thinks it's a good hook with his fans wearing binman jackets and that crack?
first time i've ever heard it suggested that someone does the bins for the humour/novelty value.... yeah, alarm's going it's 3.30am, i really better get up hadn't i? you know what? i can't be arsed today I'm knackered...i may as well just jack it in... but wait, not so fast! i'd rob my fans of a gimmick.... I just can't let them down like that, it's off into the cold winter's morning for me again, i just hope my yellow jacket wearing fans appreciate the effort.

This Dunne-Munroe hullabaloo is starting to remind me of the Hatton-Witter one.
Dunne with the title and the big home support who doesn't really need the difficult domestic (ok I know Munroe isn't strictly a 'domestic' rival of Dunne's but let's say geographically 'local' then) slickster rival in his life but really they should fight as most fans would like to see it.

I would'nt say its like witter-hatton.Dunne was keen to box Munroe, whilst hatton has never been keen to box Witter.

Well it was suggested by a certain Mr Bigears on another forum that the whole fan element was a reason why he is still doing the bins.

Can you be a bit more exact? When has Munroe displayed that he can handle a boxer with Dunne's skill and what exactly about Munroe's style do you see Dunne having problems with?

Thats just what I thought! What are most fighters known as not really having a heart or wouldn't play a part in their kids life ?

Oh no the Dunne nut-huggers are going to tag team me
No I don't believe it is.
One camp says they want the fight and the others don't and vice-versa. And the Dunne fans funnily enough take the Dunne version as gospel. Yawn.

Id say dunne really wanted that fight . He said it at nearly every interview ive heard since rendall won the belt. He is not usually a guy to talk shit.

I think it was commonly accepted that Dunne really wanted the Munroe fight. When it wasn't forthcoming for whatever reason they went after Cordoba.
The discussion is descending into an argument between Dunne supporters and Munroe supporters. It would be good for the sport to see these two guys meet.
I can understand Dunne and Peters stance now as they hold a version of a world belt and feel that they don't need Munroe anymore.
It's the fans that are losing out in the end along with Munroe

maloney pays peanuts and about 3 weeks late, he does put some decent undercards on, but he matches his prospects with hard fights to early on in there careers. all promoters are the same like you when your winning and cant be arsed when the goin gets tough
