Re: Will you be subscribing to Allegedly channel?

Just doing my duty and informing all that the site is back up...I've changed my mind now though. Oh well, maybe next time.

Apparently - and I'm not sure if this is bollocks! One of the eastern heavies that came over was unhappy with the stoppage at the conclusion of his fight! He stormed back to the changing room barging the reporter who shall remain nameless out of the way! The reporter then followed the heavyweight (who is noted for their durability) back to the changing room - some words were exchanged and the reporter knocked him out. Like I said it could be exaggerated but it seems that a certain reporter who shall remain nameless does seem to carry a fairly dangerous left hook!jessi wrote:No, tell me moreJeff Thomas wrote:Has anyone else heard the rumour that a certain boxing reporter once ko'd a certain heavyweight journeyman at a show in the north east?

I've had FOUR goes at registering. I entered my SKY card details and was told there was an error. On the 2nd, 3rd and 4th times my attempts to create a Pay Wizard account failed due to an 'unknown error'. I didn't even get far enough to enter my payment details - perhaps a blessing in disguise. My Pay Wizard account couldn't be created the first time because of an error to my answer to my security question. I entered that my mother's maiden name was 'Wild' but was told I couldn't enter this because the name had to be 'five digits or more'. Seriously???
I then entered another security question relating to my school and filled out the form, AGAIN (twice), only to receive the message 'unknown error' AGAIN. It shouldn't be this hard and I don't have the time and patience to keep trying. Your loss because unless you get diehards like me on board, and quickly, you'll fold.

My dad signed-up because I threatened him (a day's Xmas shopping with my mum or six months with Fwank - he chose Fwank)
The wife will watch it from the upstairs bedroom where she now resides with an endless supply of Quavers and Blue Nun, I've signed-up (obviously), the neighbours have in a deal that involves me feeding their cat while they're on a long weekend in Honiton, and yesterday, on helping an old lady across the road, she offered me £60 as a thank you.
I asked her to keep it, and not give it to charity, but to instead subscribe to Box Ration (rationing boxing from 2011 to ... forever) which she promised to do.
Au Revoir

I can afford 10 a month still think this is not going to last I only got it for tonight fight I can cancel at end of December on Virgin if the Janury schedule does not improve. If you think this going to do well please expalin why?The Dark Destroyer wrote:So you've got the channel? After all your bitching? For fucks sake.leforge wrote:Enjoy it while its on cant see this lasting too long! Rang virgin yesterday took 20 mins to sign on they did not know it existed!
I treated tonight fight like a ppv if I had to subcribe for 6 months I would not have done it. If you look at boxing figures even on sports channel its very poor this is why I think it will fail in the long run you need new people to watch your sport otherwise the sport will suffer. A fan of the sport does not have to pay for this channel if they don't want to many on here don't have sky they watch by other means. The Dark Destroyer wrote:I didn't say it's going to do well. I just find it funny that so many people came in here slagging the channel and the owner off saying this and that and they're signing up anyway. I expected them too because they're fans of the sport and he has some good fights this month, just don't see why we had to go through all the kicking screaming.leforge wrote:I can afford 10 a month still think this is not going to last I only got it for tonight fight I can cancel at end of December on Virgin if the Janury schedule does not improve. A dedicated boxing channel is a good idea. It might not work with just one promoter, but this is a starting point. Whether you like it or not the only way something like this will get off the ground is if we, the fans, support it.
No turncoat. I treated tonight bill like ppv, they gave to improve January or I cancel at end of December!Tommy Gunn13 wrote:Leforge you turncoat
