But some of these handlers , should be made to do it themselves ,
you're entirely right of course (looking at the way he reacted to getting hit, it obviously hadn't been a very common experience for him up to that point, to say the least), but nobody ''handled' him, managed or even trained him, he 'trained' at home by carrying heavy household implements around and standing on his head, and got a fight by just pestering promoters until one of them was desperate enough/ cynical enough to say yes (i think he would literally have fought for gas fare)

It’s inept matchmaking. Love is good and Rufus isn’t.

Rufus just got caught cold, that’s boxing. He can come again.

Obv a bad match, showed big balls to get in there but then prob realised what this tough game is all about and never fought again.

Lots of people think they can fight, and I have spoken to so many, who have never set foot in a gym, who think they could fight pro!

But people who have never kicked a football never think they can be a pro footballer.

Maybe it is the fault of boxing that poor folk too often slip through the cracks to get overmatched on under cards. There are too many uncontrolled commissions.

If you want to be a fighter first you need something in you and then you must learn your trade even if it is on the unlicensed circuit.

Learning your trade will involve getting punched in the head a lot! You will soon know whether it is for you or not!

Poor Rufus got punched in the head for the first time against a guy good enough to be an inter continental champ.

Yes, I suppose he can. I don’t even class that as a win for Love now. He was down on points.

I'm surprised to not see him back. He actually had times where he was alright, way back, and probably still has plenty of goodwill on the board should he decide to reappear, but he's radicalised these days and probably posts on an alt right board where everybody agrees with him.

Henry clearly had a bit of a crappy life / background, but he always seemed like a decent guy at heart to me when he wasn’t going on about Jesus or travellers. I don’t even bother reading Kronk’s posts.

Ya, and also when he wasn't going on about killing liberals in an upcoming civil war apocalypse

I used to get on quite well with him as at first when I joined here I only read and posted in boxers of the past. He PMd me about am boxing and training and then didn’t like my response (go to an am club and start from scratch) he turned right against me and made out I was just attacking him, a pro boxer, by saying he should get Am experience.

It culminated in his feats of strength videos. I think he has a persecution complex and when it takes hold he gets very angry and your either friend or foe.

Kronkpride's been around forever. He was either doing his weird numerology/spelling super-posts or bigging up a very overweight boxer called, I think, Chaucey Welliver. He does videos as well although I've never watched one.

I guess they're both very right wing Christian types, but Henry's more of a guy who has social problems but isn't unintelligent because he writes quite well, whereas Kronkpride seems sectionable.
