lol....yes, but that being said, i’ve gotta watch again..... i’m still trying to figure out exactly what I just witnessed. There was no “fight”.... just a “boxing match” with multitudes and multitudes of ABSOLUTELY NOTHING.
No hard punches, no “real pressure”, no discomfort, they were both as fresh as a daisy afterwards and completely unscathed.

I’m fairly discombobulated right now.....

I actually scored the bout 116-112 to Joshua

The reason I scored it a couple of rounds closer than other scorecards, was because at times I felt the Brit was running around a little too much and not putting any power behind his jabs (too negative for my liking), whereas nobody was giving the Mexican credit for repeatedly landing powerful straight right hands to the body.

It’s interesting to see the same people who criticise runners also praise AJ’s strategy last night.

Whilst I was admittedly deeply impressed by AJ’s discipline and execution of his gameplan, there were a couple of rounds where I found the fight unpalatable to watch, simply because of Joshua’s refusal to engage.

I understand the reason why he did it, but I didn’t enjoy watching the bout because of it.

Joshua over-committed to lateral movement and was also too defensive and apprehensive, even though he fought a smart fight.

You scored it wrong. Being generous ruiz won 3 rounds. No way to give him 4

Joshua didnt over commit to lateral movement. He used it perfectly and captain donut couldnt cut him off to engage

The fight wasn't much to watch but there are ways to stop the runner. Training hard and being in good shape is a start
