I'm not making a case for it being a [cliched] "50/50" fight - but looking at the betting market for a - still to be made - Canelo vs GGG bout I would argue it should be closer than 1/4 GGG & 7/2 Canelo?

I'm a fan of both fighters and do know that GGG is a clever man, against lesser opposition he has on occasion let himself take a couple on on the whiskers almost as a show - Barry Jones the commentator always picks up on this. I think it's a trait of bravado and as stated he will probably be too smart to do this against Canelo, BUT if it's something that is hard wired into how he fights he may be in for a surprise.

As a fan I really hope this fight gets made.

GGG is a very well schooled boxer, who, when the stakes are high, fights with surgical precision. The way he handled David Lemeiux is how he will handle Canelo. It will be a one sided beating from start to finish. I wouldn't put money on Alvarez if he was 20/1, because barring an injury, he doesn't stand a chance.

I've been wondering about this too. I'm wary of Stevens being inactive but as you say it's a big step up for Teixeira. He doesn't exactly look elusive going by what I've seen on youtube so he'll likely have his chin checked and Stevens is one of the hardest hitters in the division. I'll be interested in what the odds for Stevens via ko are.
Good call on Stevens, it was man vs boy in there. Teixeira didn't look strong at all
