Also went with Ireland 1-0 HT/Ireland 1-0 FT @ 14/1
Robbie Keane to score anytime @ 21/10 - he has a knack of scoring in playoffs.
I also that bet for Spain to beat England. I'll hop on that bandwagon @10/11
I don't want to be hedging too much on the one outcome, Gaz. The reason I backed Keane anytime is just in case he scores and it finishes 1-1 or 2-1 either way. I might do Ireland to win and Keane to score which is 11/4.

Jesus, I hope this isn't a sign of things to come for the weekend. Unseated his jockey!

How did Grand Crus look, mate? All going well I think he will be hard beaten at the Festival. He is currently 4/1 to win the RSA Chase, I think he may well be odds-on come March.

He looked absolutely excellent. Jumped brilliantly and showed good turn of foot to race away. Annoyingly, I was toying with backing him and then decided on Cue Card. I think I'm gonna leave the jumps alone this season except for when Big Bucks and Long Run race as they are just so unpredictable. Only a small loss though so no damage done.

Gone for Ireland & Portugal under 2.5 goals tonight and think i'm going to try and take advantage of the price on Spain tomorrow too.
Off to the casino tonight for a 30th though so will have to see how that goes first

Ireland were on top form tonight.
When they've not got the ball they're probably one of the top five teams in the world, almost impossible to break down.
Not that it really mattered against Estonia, but I'd fancy them big against England in tournament football, a view that hasn't really changed since I started watching football in that late 1980's.

I can't see how they can't win
(I also can't remember the last time I had a win of any note by the way and managed to get through the rugby world cup without a win at all)
I also had money on JMM
Time to quit whilst I'm behind I reckon...

Prices are up
2/5 Helenius 7/4 Chisora
Anyone think that may be a big price for the Finn or do we think its about right

I think 2/5 on Helenius is generous but Boylesports may have him priced even better so I'm going to wait to see what they offer first. If Fury beats Chisora then Helenius definitely should regardless if Delboy is in shape or not. I can see the big Finn priced at around 1/4 come fight night.

I was thinking around 1/4 or 1/5 Deno really, already gone 4/11 with Betfred, think that is because bwin have gone up 1/5 Helenius, different clientele for them I guess with most of Europe other than the uk betting with them, Helenius will be in most accas on fight night for them I would guess.

Few more bets on Ireland tonight. I think we will do a job on Estonia tonight. They are without 5 first choice players including their keeper and captain
Robbie Keane to score and Ireland to win @ EVENS
Keane to score 2+ goals @ 7/2
Ireland to score in both halves @10/11
Ireland -1 @ EVENS

I might make an early bet on Helenius now so, just in case.

The big question that almost always decides football matches (aside from obvious mismatches) is which team wants to win more. I don't think Ireland will be killijng themselves tonight, the tie is won, and they generally play better away from home.
The 4-0 was the biggest fluke result ever, Estonia were all over us for long spells and the ref helped us a lot.
I wouldn't be confident of Ireland -1.
Half-time score Ireland 1-0, full time score 1-1 is excellent value at 30/1. The clean sheet record has to go sooner or later and why not when we've the tie well and truly won (remember Iran under McCarthy)?
I also think Estonia +2 at 8/11 is value.

I think the fact Estonia are missing so many key players makes the -1 good value. I really can't see how they would be up for this considering they are 4-0 down from the first leg. In the press conference yesterday, their manager didn't seem to give a feck about it. Btw, the clean sheet record was banjaxed by Armenia. The Iran tie was far from won going into the 2nd leg. We were 2-0 and playing the second leg in Tehran. That could have gone anyway.

Yeah, but it went deep in injury time, with the match won.
Defensive lapses are more likely to happen when there's nothing on the line.
We'll know in a couple of hours Deno, just stuck a score on my bet.

Hmmm, I have been given £2 for a reward for being a loyal customer with Bet365. I am thinking about having two £1 bets on big odds. Any tips?

Yep, best of luck pal. Estonia +2 is a good shout by the way

That's the catch - no accumalators.
Single bets.

Bosnia to beat Portugal @ 8/1 might be worth a shout. Portugal have been far from impressive at home this campaign, they have conceded 4 against Cyprus and 3 against Iceland. Bosnia on the other hand have a record of 2-2(D)-1(L) on the road, that includes a 2-0 win over Belarus and a 1-1 draw in Paris. Depends what you want though, it's a long shot.

Cheers, matey.
Will have a look at the first goalscorers in the England match, then if I find nothing, Bosnia here I come.
Quite fancy Terry first goalscorer - 22/1.
He always scores when he has problems I find.
