Froch took a worst shot in the opening round - eyes were in a worst state and was eqaully as groggy on his legs.... so we have our answer.
Exactly!

Could have said that about Froch in the 1st, was much more unsteady than Groves ever was.

That fight was rubbish. The scorecards were bullshit. Groves would've had to stop him to get a win. fornicate that ref.

An absolute joke of a stoppage ruined what was a fantastic fight to that point

I wish the fight hadn't been stopped. His legs were gone and I'm convinced he wouldn't have seen the round out.

George would have won that with skills if he hadn't gone toe to toe

If I was Froch wouldn't take rematch - Groves will improve, Froch can't against that style

Robert Smith the BBBoC fellow says that Foster has nothing to answer to before they've even sat! Nothing to see here! Groves will be a big draw and a really popular champion, he was robbed tonight for 6 months; he will wreck Froch in a rematch,

Bad stoppage though.

Groves performed VERY well tonight and with a cooler head has the beating of Froch in a rematch.

Had Adam Booth been in that corner tonight, Groves wins by UD.
Do you not think Froch will be a lot better though?

Look at Froth's legs in the first round! A lot worse than Grove's ? rounds later.

It just looked like nonsense to me. The ref should have jumped in front of Froch to stop him from landing more punches if he thought Groves was in danger but instead he just grabs hold of Grove's waist and reels across the ring with him (at a point when Groves is out of Froch's punching-range anyway). Nonsense.

I don't think he can, he hasn't got the skills, just a good chin

No denying that Froch was coming on strong but Groves' early success worked against him and he got too cocky. If he hadn't got cocky he could have won on points.

However he would have been shafted looking at the scorecards

Groves is a British Superstar and will ruin Froch, he did tonight; Froch is wrecked he is an old man and is old he'll not do 6 rounds in a rematch

Agree, you just carn't trust the ref or scorecards in fights like these, we know this well,
so best not to give them a excuse to screw you, althoe saying that he probably would have been screwed on the scorecard too  .

Pat Sheehan. The boxing genius who in The Sun the other week referred to Andre Ward as the first man to beat Froch. And who once put in print that Hamed was due to fight Roy 'Junior' Jones.

Bollocks to Froch and all the Matchroom fighters, Quigg and Campbell should just fight in the U.K.
Matchrooms reputation will take years to heal after this.

I wouldn't be too sure, I think the defeat could have a mental effect on Groves, he won't be so sure of himself next time and it was his confidence that won him the first 7 rounds this time.

I don't know Groves personally and he won't know himself yet, but it all depends on how he reacts to no longer being an unbeaten fighter. How he deals with that fear of losing.
