If Quigg can stop this guy, he has a better than 75% stoppage record
I think thats deceptive though. Campbell has a high KO ratio aswell and he's not a monstrous puncher.

11th round and Froch reckons this has distance written all over it

Too much testosterone and inner rage pumping through those veins, no doubt.
All that wild boar he probably eats raw will do that to you

Quigg edges 11th. Simion needs a ko for me.

Quigg only had about 10 brain cells before this fight- he must be in the red now.

Real CTE inducing fight.

Against a puncher it would have been game over , but maybe he wouldn't have been so gungho

Surprised he's not offered Froch out for a dust up on the Cobbles.
I think Smith is conflicted over Froch. On the one hand he respects his career and toughness, on the other hand the fierce competitor and warrior spirit in Smith yearns to prove himself the better fighting man and to force Froch to give best to him, an alpha like Smith simply cannot abide even the implication that another man is his equal

Ultimately though I think he suspects that whether Ina straight or dirty go, a fight between he and Froch would mean neither man would ever be the same again, Smith doesn't want that to be his legacy like Holmes had with Ali, so he cuts Froch some slack.

I give Simion a share of the last so it's Quigg's decision by 3 rounds for me.

This fight is making me think of Gutnecht. Fun fight to watch but slightly uncomfortable to watch, to be honest.

See what your saying but he was in it all the way throwing back never seemed to be really hurt. Really good fight

Froch was on Soccer AM today and actually mentioned his 80,000 spectators - I reckon he will be going round later doing a headcount with one of them clickometer things!

Good fight that I enjoyed it, Quigg made it hard for himself though, he obviously thought he could just steamroll Simion but it was Simion who was winning the wars for the 1st few rounds and he was hitting Quigg clean constantly tonight, Quigg started to land clean himself as the fight went on and Simion looked ragged at times, he takes a helluva shot, Christ knows what was keeping him up at times, there were a few times he hurt Simion and it looked like he might get him out of there but Simion finished well I thought and had success late on

No real skills on show from Quigg I know he's no Pernell Whitaker but he was basic as hell in there especially early on, he's gonna need to change tactics immensely against Selby or he'll be chasing shadows and getting tied in knots
