He doesn't seem personally dislikeable but he does hang around with a-grade tossers like DLH and Hopkins.
The DAZN commentary team also makes him out to be the second coming of Sugar Ray Robinson which is grating.
He is a serious offense talent to do that to Campbell, but like many others have said he hangs his chin out and this will get him found out sooner or later.

Ive never been one for getting irate at Sky commentary, Adam Smith growls like fcvk, Nelson talks pure nonsense and the rest are Matchroom FC but ive always been able to switch off from them mentally while watching the fights, i take no notice of them but that DAZN commentary last night was brutal, every one of them were diabolical, DAZN needs an overhaul with their pundits because they are a laughing stock

The person directing them must be an idiot. The people watching have already subscribed, so why the hard sell job during commentary? It has, in part, driven my decision to cancel.

Just seen this on youtube, a doctor's explanation of what a massive bodyshot feels like and also why there is a delayed reaction a lot of the time. For an armchair fan non boxer like me, it was very interesting.

Enjoyed the fight last night. Thought it was the perfect step up for Garcia and he passed the test impressively. His speed and power is there for all to see.
There are definitely vulnerabilities though, as others have mentioned. When his opponents attack he likes to hold his feet and throw at the same time as he's confident that with his speed he'll be able to land first - usually with the check left hook. He's had success with it (Fonseca KO) but if he misses with his own shot or, as we saw last night, doesn't actually commit to a counter, then his chin is massively exposed. Especially as he has a habit trying to pull his head away with his chin high. Needs to work on that half step back which should still allow him to throw a counter punch, but slightly removes the risk of getting caught. Alternatively, take a few lessons from Canelo in head movement and keeping the chin protected while in punching range.
I think he beats the vast majority of lightweights right now, but I think it'd be wise to keep him away from Teofimo and Tank until those flaws are ironed out.

I've seen a bunch of people compare Garcia to Khan and personally I just dont see it. Sure they both have/had very fast hands (although Khan in his prime had ridiculous hand speed more so than Garcia)but other than that stylistically they're not similar at all. Khan was very much a volume guy who overwhelmed people with his speed, but not a particularly big puncher, and his stoppages came about more so from accumulation. Garcia on the other hand is very reliant on that left hook, although has decent pop in the right hand aswell.

Yep. Khan was much more about in and out movement with his feet and fast flurries with his hands. campbell was poor lets be honest , he got lucky with the knockdown and couldnt follow it up , he was just going for the KO but far too predictably !
Garcia looked good against him but lets not assume he can deal with elite boxers so easily .
