Is the gloves are off out? I can’t find it just a teaser. To be fair gloves are off are insightful and the only preview type show I watch

Brook looked like he had no punch resistance in the Crawford fight. Brook always looks really good pre-fights. When he makes weight etc.stujones wrote: ↑14 Feb 2022, 14:30 It is interesting hearing Dom and also Brook himself criticise / question his prep / weight making for Crawford. In the build up all we heard about was how "he's doing the weight right this time" and I must say I thought he looked cut to shreds (in a good way) weeks before the bout and I thought looked a million pounds going into the ring. I think he had a ready made excuse for perhaps the punch resistance not being there.
Although Khan's timing looked way off also against Crawford - yes lets not give Crawford a disservice he is an exceptional fighter but it was interesting how Hunter just left him out to dry really post fight with the criticisms that he was "shot". Khan looked more shot than Brook, untill Brook got floored.
Could it be the battle to make weight the caused Brook's problems taking punches ?Ruthless-RKO wrote: ↑14 Feb 2022, 15:22Brook looked like he had no punch resistance in the Crawford fight. Probably the usual, Morning. I guess we’ll find out closer to the time. If they tell us.
Pretty key info. If brook has to be 163 at 8 or 9am thats probably so easy it dosent mean much. If he has to be 163 a few hours befor the fight its potentialy a real issue...Ruthless-RKO wrote: ↑14 Feb 2022, 19:10Probably the usual, Morning. I guess we’ll find out closer to the time. Is it contracted that they can weigh no more than 163 on the day ?gregregegg wrote: ↑14 Feb 2022, 20:02Pretty key info. If brook has to be 163 at 8 or 9am thats probably so easy it dosent mean much. Alot of money moving around the bookies for this fight considering noone seems to know key information...
I think so, thats what iv heard but heard nothing about its timing. could be bulshit because i havent heard it directly from anyone that matters, just read it somewhere that seemed trustworthyish on the internet....CaptainSpacerod wrote: ↑14 Feb 2022, 21:37Is it contracted that they can weigh no more than 163 on the day ?gregregegg wrote: ↑14 Feb 2022, 20:02Pretty key info. Ah ok. I’m just speculating here but if Brook has agreed to 149 with severe financial penalties for coming in over that, I’d be surprised if he’s also agreed to a rehydration clause. It seems he was more desperate to make the fight than Khan was but even so there must be a limit to the amount of hoops he was prepared to agree to jump through to get it signedgregregegg wrote: ↑14 Feb 2022, 22:08I think so, thats what iv heard but heard nothing about its timing. could be bulshit because i havent heard it directly from anyone that matters, just read it somewhere that seemed trustworthyish on the internet....CaptainSpacerod wrote: ↑14 Feb 2022, 21:37 Is it contracted that they can weigh no more than 163 on the day ?
Id say giving up the 2 pounds to 149 was balanced by a rehydration... thats my guess. Khan said "you can have 147 with no hydration clause, or 149 with one" somthing along those lines. pure speculation but i feel khan wouldent of given up both seeing as he is the big dawg with more options (connor benn was practicaly begging to fight him).CaptainSpacerod wrote: ↑14 Feb 2022, 22:38Ah ok. Been training with him for many months now. Great sparring for Brook though and tells me that those spars have shown maybe Khan has a little bit left?MightyWarrior wrote: ↑15 Feb 2022, 02:33 Bud Crawford is over helping Amir get ready for the fight ..how did that happen ?
He looks and sounds like he’s had a few years of IQs taken off him. Khan isn’t the smartest but made him look stupid. Brook could have some kind of brain-related issue. His body has taken a lot of punishment and some people recover better than others.Ruthless-RKO wrote: ↑15 Feb 2022, 05:19 Brook looked like he was about to cry seriously.
Felt a bit sorry for him.
Yes it's not good is it?Dioufy wrote: ↑15 Feb 2022, 05:25

You can tell that Brooks’ been a boxer. Harder to notice with Khan.
Kel has always been a bit slow but I’m seeing stuff that worries me about him.
It was recorded right after the first press conference.stujones wrote: ↑15 Feb 2022, 05:54 Obviously this was recorded a while ago - wasn't it the day of the first announcement conference, so neither had experienced the camp. I think Brook is right about Khan knowing that this was always a "lots to lose" type of fight for him - he always had the british market to fall back on had he lost appeal in the US with too many loses, but a loss to Brook would have left him with no where - he sort of "side stepped" the domestic scene. I don't blame him, made a lot of money in the states and was in negotiations for huge fights.
Khan definitely looked and sounded sharper (don't think I've ever seen that) but at the same time I don't think I've ever seen him laugh and smile so much when discussing a fight. I'm not sure it is genuine either.
