However, Ngannou has got his wish and he has now gatecrashed the boxing heayweight world scene, you could get him in a top twenty position in five or so fights - start with someone like Takam and by fight five get him in with Yoka - those would do well in France - he will probably rematch Fury though if the Saudis stump up the money.

This was Tyson Fury out of shape and facing a fighter where he couldn't use the clinch.

How many other fighters can take the clinch from Fury's toolkit?

The Foster v Hernandez fight has restored some faith in boxing.

Thankfully no British ref involved so the fight was allowed to develop properly without being stopped as soon as one guy takes a decent couple of punches

I disagree with this massively. Ngannou proved himself competent but Fury allowed him a lot of success. Other than the knockdown, it was mostly down to Fury looking awful.

I think Ngannou will lose a lot of boxing match ups obviously. And Fury will just retire now with his tail between his legs. I’m surprised it took this long for a wheel to fall off the bus so to speak. I just don’t think Fury will have the confidence to risk his unbeaten record against anyone with a pulse. To think Lewis got so much criticism for that final war with Vitali. And here is Fury scrapping a SD with a 37 year old debutant!

I could see a rematch with Ngannou if the Saudis want to stump up the money, he's going nowhere near Usyk.

He would lose every round to Usyk, perhaps even get stopped in the late rounds. I don’t think really Fury has ever been more than average in terms of punch power. At this point he seems to have more or less lost all his attributes, and at 35 I don’t think he can turn back the clock anymore. He just seems like a slightly exposed and over-hyped boxer.

Maybe stiff bodybuilders are Fury’s kryptonite. Might be why he’s never faced any other ‘stiff idiots’

Fury is such an arse these days, if he doesn’t fight Usyk I really hope him and the rest his family would just fcuk off from boxing for good.
They have become awful viewing.

So obvious wasn't it, Frank jumping in Tyson has a cut on his head, we will have to see when the fight happens
wouldnt surprise me at all if fury goes for a rematch with ngannou instead of taking on usyk who will pick him apart like a surgeon
Yet another trilogy in the works.

He won't want usyk or Joshua now.

Probably be some chicanery to get Ngannou a ranking and fight again with the title on the line.

Fury should be stripped, but won't be if there's a big money rematch in the offing.

I suspect his punch resistance is shot too.

He's done well to go as long as he has with his lifestyle really, what age did Hatton hang the gloves up. I thought he looked nervous before the fight, maybe he knows he hasn't got it any more, hence why he has swerved the big dogs an top contenders for so long.

Yes you’re right. It’s really a bit of a miracle he lasted this long as the supposed number one if all he’s been doing is messing around in Morecambe and doing little half-hearted jogs up and down the prom. I don’t think he’s lived the life at all since the Whyte fight 18 months ago.

The Fury camp dont like it up em. John couldnt wait to get away in his chaufuer driven suv (keeping his t shirt firmly on). Fury himself refused to do the post fight presser. Warrren has said no chance of Usyk in December.

Fury was all over the shop in the 3rd wilder fight, i'd say there was an abvious decline there. After this debalce, he looks pretty much done, probably would beat Ngannou in a rematch but that appears his level now.

Joshua and Usyk would give him a beatdown.

Yes the bubble has burst! The genie is not going to go back in the bottle and all that.

What happened to that Mini-cabs Mick guy who used to be so pro-Fury on here? Did he change his handle or something. I’d love to hear his take. lol

Mate - it won’t take five fights.

The WBC will probably install him inside their top ten next time out.

Wouldn’t be surprised if they make him mandatory.

Awful fight. Fury did slightly more. Ngannou impressed by staying calm and boxing intelligently. But it was a bad fight. Fortunately the undercard saved it with an enthralling fight for the Lonsdale belt.

I'd put Wardley in with the solid but beatable Kabayel for the bone fide European title.
