Well i got to admit, i thought RDA tuned him up enough to more or less cut off that avenue at WW. There are some monsters in that division, even outside the top 5. Big question where he goes from here, given his shortcomings at LW. But people in the industry, far more informed, than me swear by his talent. That is hard to ignore. Either way, i think WW for him is a hard ask.

Bummer.

The world is running out of safe places, at least when it comes to large congregations of people. That said, there are locations that will be willing to host MMA events regardless of what’s happening stateside and UFC is currently exploring those options.

I don't see why they don't just host all their events at their Apex facility in Vegas until this thing dies down.

The UFC are too business savvy to do something like that, the PR backlash of something so wreckless would be more damaging to the brand than postponing events imo.

I also think athletes are pretty reluctant to compete until this virus is under control. athlete pressure has just got the Olympics postponed. Can't blame them really, a nasty dose of pneumonia could be career-ending.

Not one of their athletes wanted their fights cancelled. Have you been paying attention, the UFC desperately wants the show to go on. It may not, but it isn't even debatable what they want.

Well i knew many of them were total meat heads, particularly the teams. Some smart guys compete too though, and when the bodies start really stacking high I guess at least a few might question the wisdom of having 24+ competitors roll around the same canvas and fencing in a single night.
