I just want now for Usyk to do another year or two and give the young mandatories their shots. Saudis are getting these things moving, hate them or love them
100% wasted opportunity with the show boating, those early rounds were tricky to call!Controversial wrote: ↑18 May 2024, 20:05 Fury threw that away, when he was on the offensive he looked decent, the body shots were landing and over the rounds would’ve worn Usyk down. He showboated and stood off too much and let Usyk tee off.
That’s his mentality. His ego comes first. He looked to be fighting scared in some rounds and the bravado was maybe a gee up. Usyk is the ultimate competitor. He looked pretty down in those mid rounds but fck me he roared back…Controversial wrote: ↑18 May 2024, 20:05 Fury threw that away, when he was on the offensive he looked decent, the body shots were landing and over the rounds would’ve worn Usyk down. Smashed it mate. I think the fundamentals won outpolecateddy wrote: ↑18 May 2024, 09:3650 in December. Scary stuff! I’ve not bet for years but I’ve a feeling that to operate at the very top level you should (in theory) need to be a lot more professional than Tyson Fury. I’ve not checked, but possibly this will be the first time he’s faced someone with a top line amateur background. I’ve got a feeling Usyk’s skill level might be a bit of a shock to the system!Delta Jay wrote: ↑18 May 2024, 07:36I’ve got a bet on. It will probably just go on council tax and British Gas if it comes in unfortunately. Dunno how old you are but I haven’t half changed in my 30s. To be fair I did lose my bet - I went for Usyk by stoppage - and the fight did show Fury is awfully talented and clearly lost a good 10-15% of his best level by not living the life or competing against the best more.Delta Jay wrote: ↑19 May 2024, 10:05Smashed it mate. I lost mine too, DQ either way at 50s was too good to say no. I’m a bit annoyed at Nelson tbh, gonna rewatch now to make sure but I think he was very lenient with TFpolecateddy wrote: ↑19 May 2024, 10:13To be fair I did lose my bet - I went for Usyk by stoppage - and the fight did show Fury is awfully talented and clearly lost a good 10-15% of his best level by not living the life or competing against the best more.Delta Jay wrote: ↑19 May 2024, 10:05Smashed it mate.
