I just think eubank threw a lot of flashy stuff that didn't really land cleanly.

Yep. He looked very flashy and athletic at times, but in the majority of rounds BJS did more of substance. I could see how people would buy into the flashiness though.

Good post. I had it 114-114, but I cant see where the judge got Eu by 3. Even BJS suggested he won 1-5, 9 & 11, which I think is a reasonable assessment giving him it 115-113.

Great fight. Eubank has a helluva lot to learn, but also a helluva lot of potential. Saunders showed some great heart late on and some excellent tactical boxing early. Sr probably should bugger off out of the corner though

Agreed. Eubank should come back again and fight for the British Title after BJS has move dup to fight for World Titles.

I didnt like Eubank jnr in the corner saying to Davies "I heard you. Stop talking" that wasnt right.

That's what I think. I reckon Eubank could go further in his career than BJS. How much input does Snr have? Do you think the old man is a help or hindrance?

Eubank Jnr reminds me of the martial artists who practice perfect punches against targets and develop real power, when they are facing a live opponent they are never able to land the perfect punch.

I don't see how you can legitimately score that for Eubank jr, BJS easily won at least 7 sounds. Which did they score for Eubanks Jr.?

Ref was too pro Saunders and allegedly crew were cheer leading for him, pretty annoying at times. I dont see Saunders succeed on a world stage. As for Eubank, he has long way to go, he will need a proper trainer.

Eubank missing with wild swings gains him nothing and Saunders gets points for defence for getting out of the way of them, easy to walk onto shots like that if you're not careful. He did land some good shots, but Saunders took them well and responded. He's good enough to win titles, better than I thought, but he needs to get rid of his Dad if he's serious about winning a world title, Ronnie Davies is a good trainer, but Senior takes too much control and doesn't really know what he's doing, especially in the corner.

I think Eubank would benifit greatly from a move away from the team around him , what was going on in the corner ? Ronnie Davis telling after losing the first five rounds to go out and f*CKING beat him up , great instruction just missing a slap here and there

He's a help to the bank balance!

Also a help early in his career, making him take a tougher route than most but it seems now he needs to take a step back and let jnr be his own man.

I though BJS done enough in the early rounds and though Eubanks rallied in spurts and in particular the last couple, it wasn't enough.

Good fight, good dec it's over let's move on.

How does everyone see Saunders doing against Korobov? I say Korobov because i dont see Lee beating him.

Eubank is too raw a boxer to be British Title level, he has strength and conditioning above his skill level.

Here we go. Fury is good entertainment, I'll give him that. Don't like all these rumours about Chisora being too ill to train recently.
