I seem to remember Frank alluding to Brighton not being a fight city when Sr was saying they’d have to do the press conference there and Sr just replied.

Good on John Ryder. Hardly good prep but he’ll be set for life if he ends up taking the fight.
Up until this, despite all his other stuff, I still wanted Billy Joe to win. After seeing him in the olympics, all his pro fights (half a dozen or so live), I’m now wanting Canelo to beat him.

Don’t worry, it’s just white noise, too much cash at stake - the fight will happen.
Similar tactics used by Fury in Germany, get the team to moan about everything and get a few concessions here and there and leave the other camp a bit unsettled ..
And Billy Joe won’t quit, he’s a hard bastard & will take his lumps if need be

I might be wrong but I think they are all playing a role. That's why Billy is not doing the talking. He's focussing on the job in hand while all this nonsense is pedalled.
