All he said yesterday was that both fighters had signed the contract. He mentioned it to his/AJ’s broadcast partner which would have driven plenty of traffic for them for 24 hours or so and sports websites/newspapers were talking about the fight again.
He broke an agreement. Notice joshua and fury didn't even tweet about it. Its a low two faced egotistical move. They would of probably planned some press conference and official announcemt . Hearn blew that. Boxing news cant write an article on time. Hearns ego is put of control.
Yeh, a gentlemen's agreement.. Hearn just wants to be the center. Like Haye said, it's the Eddie Hearn show.

So they’re going to arrange a press conference without even having a date or a location?! No chance.
If they had a signed agreement that mandate no-one talks about the fight until it’s formally announced (bear in mind that both Bob and Eddie said last week that everything had been agreed and that the contracts were out for signing) then no doubt FW will sue both Eddie and Bob for talking about it.

They agreed verbally I hardly think they’d pay to draw up a contract on a press announcement
Eddie did an interview with IFL earlier. He said he checked with Fury’s team (assume MTK) before he said what he did and they were fine with it.

Frank crying about people announcing it without him was mabey better than the fight will be. Poor guy seems forever hard done by. If they ever get a date and location I hope he spills the beans.

I always backed Fury for this but for some reason I am thinking Joshua stops him. He will have a good gameplan and serious dedication for over a decade. This might trump the obvious Fury advantages.

By the time they fight Fury will have been inactive for almost 18 months. To get properly tuned up would it benefit him to organise a private fight with a decent operator under actual fight conditions - 3 min rounds, small gloves, no headguards, a referee etc. ?
Or is that too daft an idea to even contemplate with the risk of injury or a bad cut potentially scuppering rhe bigggest fight in history ?

If memory serves, Sugar Ray Leonard had three "private" fights along those lines to prepare for Hagler. Worked for him!

Ok cheers I never knew that. I wonder if the promoters involved have already second guessed this possibility and put a punitive clause in Fury’s contract to warn him off doing so.

i would keep the head gear on to help prevent cuts, esp with his cut history, but i agree that some hard spars otherwise under fight conditions would be useful

A mate of mine saw Fury out running yesterday and took a sneaky photo.
He’s clearly training hard but actually looked quite skinny (in contrast to how strong he looked in the Wilder rematch). Hopefully he’s not overdoing the cardio.

Wilder hit Fury a good bit harder than Cunningham did............and he went...............then got up.
Fury's biggest obstacles are likely to be inactivity and complacency. If he's on it he will win.

Agree that Fury will win by stoppage but let's not underestimate this task though, this will be Fury's toughest fight to date and likewise it will be Joshua's.

You could do,but I doubt AJ hits as hard as wilder in one shot,he's a accumulative puncher,and I know what happened in one fight doesn't mean it will happen in another,but if wilder isn't KOing Tyson fury I can't see Joshua doing it tbh

the difference between wilder and aj's power is overstated. we can see wilder has some accumulation type showings too, yet ppl act like he's flattening everyone with his first shot while aj needs to land tons
3 common opponents: aj stopped 2 faster, wilder stopped 1 faster
distance opponents: 2 for aj, 1 for wilder (wow huge difference)
duhaupas took an 11 round flush shot pasting but never went down
stiverne 1 took a pasting of flush shots but made it to the end w/o a kd
molina took a pasting but went 9 (only 3 vs aj)
arreola wasnt flattened and instead just retired after a prolonged beating
ortiz i got dropped hard, yet came back and almost won, wasnt stopped until he was exhausted in the 10th

It took Wilder 9 rounds to knock out glass chinned Spzilla who Chisora KO'd in 2 and Kownacki KO'd in 4. Wilder undoubtedly has a powerful right-hand but the power is definitely overstated. The only relevant guy that Wilder has dropped/KO'd who hasn't been dropped/KO'd by anyone else is Ortiz, who has only fought one other half notable opponent in Jennings.

ya, i mean im not denying wilders power, but he hasnt stopped anyone who aj wouldnt and its simply not true that he's one shot flattened guys every fight
