It gets repetitive though Maverick, the youtubers all generally ask the same questions and you get the same answers. So personally for me, it's a question of who gets the scoop first I view...although I would always view his skysports interviews as that felt more official. The biggest star on matchroom roster is Hearn, so the way to build numbers is for exclusivity....can see what you mean though.
Yeah - it gets really repetitive when they’re doing 4/5 interviews with YTube channels post fight but, until Matchroom’s channel is much bigger, they’ll continue using IFL.
There’ll also be some loyalty there for Kugan as Eddie wouldn’t be half as well known without Kugan following him around for the last 10 years.

IFL wouldn't be where they are at with out the access Hearn has given them, Bent legs likes to play it differently but he must know deep down that this is the case.
The Matchroom channel is up to 250k subscribers now, it has motored by a lot of the smaller channels already.
Works both ways. Hearn wouldn’t be as well known (all the nocontexthearn stuff) without IFL either.
IFL is still almost 3 times the size of the Matchroom channel so will continue to be used heavily for a while longer.

Didn't he treat Usyk's team to burgers last time out? Must have a deal in place.
He treated Usyk to a Five Guys

The thing that most concerned me last night, and I don’t believe has been mentioned anywhere else, was Chisora’s breathing between rounds.
It was like he was on the verge of a heart attack. Impressed he managed to get through 12 like that and remain competitive.

He sounded like that against Usyk too. Maybe he always sounded like that in the corner and we couldn’t hear it before with the crowds.

Usyk could have finished Chisora off circa 9th round, but decided to let him go and boxed safe.
Parker always edges his fights and doesn't push the action.
So, Chisora should be glad, that he was allowed to hear the final bell of these fights, instead of crying about a robbery.

I know next to nothing about social media and haven't used YouTube for a year or so, so answer me a question, I take it you are using subscribers as your measuring stick. What percentage of followers are active, or can we not determine that as third parties?

Subscribers gives a decent indication of overall size, but the real measuring stick is actual number of views per video, since that’s how revenue is generated. Each video has the number of views displayed, so would be easy enough to calculate how the subscriber total stacks up against average views.

I’m not aware that you can determine that properly as a 3rd party. They’ll probably know their active/non active subscriber volumes though.
IFL seem to do significantly bigger viewer numbers though than Matchroom’s channel.

Poor bout frankly by any standard but PPV ! HMM
Chisora did what he does , he gives it a damn good go despite his lack of mobility , I am more pissed off with Parker who was not even ready when the bell went and got clocked plus he seemed reluctant to let his hands go all the way through the 12 rounds .
Rematch ? no thanks

Yusuf Mack is one of the weirdest boxing stories ever.
Totally. Think I read he had 10 kids. The only other openly gay fighter I can think of is Emile Griffith.

It's quaint how old fashioned boxing fans are when it comes to gay fighters. Growing up I knew a few gay/bi blokes that could really have a row. It's a stereotype that gay lads are soft. Growing up in certain areas and being openly gay or bi meant that they'd have to learn to stick up for themselves.
Back 15 odd years ago when I was a psychiatric nurse there was a gay bloke who was a psychopath (he was a nonce as well, not that that has anything to do with him being gay) that we had to take on our ward (the community team that admitted him to us apologised and said he was too dangerous for us really but he had to come in) and he was absolutely terrifying: all prison muscle and had form for raping blokes. I worked with a lot of dangerous men and could front most of them out no problem but he was one of the few people that genuinely frightened me. He was pure evil. One of the other patients who had form for being a f*cking pain in the arse and kicking off himself absolutely shit himself when this bloke was admitted and openly admitted his relief when we nutted off this particular lad to a higher security facility.
I hope he's dead now.
It's like that Purple Aki bloke, the famous nonce from up North: Richard Towers talked about meeting him in prison on the normal wing and he was told not to touch him because he was so useful to the local villains to put the frighteners on people. That seems to be a thing among underworld types.

Friday’s BT card was better than Matchroom’s yesterday.
Nothing against the kid but Campbell Hatton shouldn’t be fighting on a PPV at about half 9 at night. It was barely above white collar standard.
Agree 150%
